Reach out to the positive impact of Hive so others can enjoy its ripple effects that are life-changing.
The unbreakable trust
With the aid of social media, the collaborative plan of the Tabogon Bloggers was done online. This was highlighting the Orientation of this platform so others will also be inspired and motivated to indulge themselves in the world of blogging.
Many are interested and committed to joining. It was a piece of vivid evidence that their eagerness pushed them to travel afar, spend time, money, and effort just to merely listen and be oriented. Despite not knowing us personally, there was trust built by the participants through social media.
Keeping things systematic
During the planning period, constant communication and follow-up were done thoroughly. This was to ensure that everything will run smoothly. Organizing such an event can be pretty challenging, mixed emotions will be felt because we don't know what will be the outcome. However positive outlook always prevails.
The venue was agreed upon and approved by the body. All the stuff needed for the orientation was sincerely presented and properly decided so there will be no disappointment.
The final moment
...the alarm clock rang. It was the 29th of July. I had risen early in the morning so I can embark earlier. I must be at the venue ahead of time. Since this was initiated by @missjoycee and @selflessgem the venue will be at their school station. It is a 32-minute drive from my residency. I'm exhilarated about this and I should be at the venue before the event starts.
Everything was packed, RM was with me (as always) and of course, my Bebe loves. Together we traveled to our destination where the orientation will be properly done at Kal-anan National High School.
A little twist
I tried my best to come on time however on our way, an excruciating cry from a poor little creature behind the road was heard. I ignored it at first, and continued driving. I know in my mind that it was a puppy. My heart seemed to be broken and my conscience scrutinized me. I told RM, we will help the puppy and so I detoured. An act of spreading love.
The puppy fell into the ditch that was built alongside the road. Poor little thing, if it would not be rescued, it will die. He has not enough strength to lift his body out as he is still a puppy. Afterward, I got a happy heart, and off we continued our journey.
Upon arrival, @indayclara, @ybanezkim26, @intoy.bugoy, @selflessgem, @missjoycee, @jobeliever, @netswriting, @callmesmile, @ciadanmea, the other onboarded bloggers and some of the participants were already there. I was glad to see them setting up the things needed obviously, I was not late yet.
The diving in
In my time, the proper orientation started at 9:37 in the morning. It was Inday Clara who facilitated it. She did it interactively. She let us share some of our experiences on this platform so the participant will gain trust and confidence based on our testimonies. This was a good motivation of encouragement regarding the legitimacy of the program.
She precisely discussed the OCD Onboarding Program. The advantages and disadvantages of being onboarded were clearly tackled. She added how Hive works, in what way we are benefited, and what are the big NO! NO! in this platform.
The shared expertise bridged the minds of newbies or future bloggers to be opened. They listen attentively and absorbed religiously all the pieces of information they have learned from the first speaker.
Afterward, Sir Kim did his part. He diligently shared his experiences first on this platform and how it helps him. He mentioned how long he has been here and what made him stay in Hive for a long time.
His meaningful talks imparted widened all our knowledge. The goodness of this platform was clearly emphasized by Sir Kim and the trust issue was about to achieve 100 percent.
It was Sir Intoy.bugoy's time. He heartily discussed the other facts that the participants need to learn. He elaborated on how Peakd works and how to use it. The participants were enlightened about his talks and were eager to start blogging.
The open forum
Curiosity is one of the best acts to check the level of interest of the participants. Different questions were raised and these were answered with satisfaction by our proficient facilitators who traveled far just to spread the goodness of Hive. Forever we will be grateful to them who are persistent on the free services rendered for the love of Hive.
The mandatory pose
Once we will leave the venue, this gathering will become a memory. To cherish this once-a-lifetime opportunity, we have our mandatory picture-taking. This will be kept as an emblem that will last a lifetime.
The bond
Snacks were given to all of the attendees. We made sure that they will not be hungry. Filipinos as we are, this act of kindness is what we are proud of. With the support of the Teacher Bloggers in Tabogon, snacks were served with satisfaction.
To strengthen our bond, before we parted ways we ate our lunch prepared. Although it was not as lavish as expected we have a happy stomach, a happy heart, and a great meal. Once again we have eaten together as a Hive family which is worth remembering. It is the bond that matters most. No words can express how glad we were and no amount can equal the sense of belongingness that we had this day.
We are unstoppable in growing bigger and bigger. It was another wonderful day for such a successful orientation that will truly make a difference in others' lives.
More power and let's keep spreading Hive!
