Hi! My Hive Beginner's Guide is up to 14,000+ words. It covers every Hive question in friendly terms a teenager could grasp. I'm also making doodles to go with it.
Visual storytelling feels good.
Here's a taste of some of the illustrations I've made so far. They all came from my brain, made by me, (though sometimes using licensed images from DreamsTime.com and Envato.com. Plus one of them borrows from Charles Schultz's peanuts without his permission, but I feel an iconic man like him would be okay with this use. :D)
The final guide will have many more doodles, but I wanted to see if you had any improvements or suggestions to make these illustrations better?
1. For the 'Disclaimer' about Hive On-Boarding:
2. A pitch for 'Why Hive:'
3. For the 'Getting Started' section:
4. For the 'Keys' section:
5. For the 'Resource Credits' section:
So there you have it, a taste of my illustrated guide to Hive for beginners.
P.S. Since the guide is so big, I haven't decided if I'll make it a post here on Hive, or a much cleaner formatted & colored page on my website, or an entirely separate domain, a blend of the above, or what. I'm thinking that since it's for people who aren't on Hive, I'll host it on a website, but not clear yet. Suggestions welcome.
P.P.S. I only have a few Hive questions left unanswered. If you feel inspired, please help answer my last 8 questions, any insight is greatly appreciated.
Thanks to @cynshineonline for helping me with these drawings, and thank you all for reading & any comments you make.
Sincerely,
~J-Ryze.
