With the positive impact brought about HIVE on our lives, we also wanted to share the goodness it brings to other people. That is why, another wave of Hive Orientation was successfully done in Tabogon. Future bloggers were oriented on what is Hive Blogging all about and its dos and don'ts.
Together with @missjoycee @melit79 and I, and other supportive teacher bloggers in Tabogon, we strongly initiate the second batch of Hive Orientation. It was not easy to initiate and invite others to join and hear about this platform for a lot of people had already been alarmed about scammers all over the place. So, it was a tough challenge for everyone how to spread the good message about Hive to others and what life-changing opportunities it brings to us and our families.
Last July 29, 2023, was the scheduled date for the second batch of future bloggers in our school. With the help of @indayclara, @ybanezkim26, and @intoy.bugoy who gave their time and effort to talk about Hive. Other teacher bloggers from Tabogon were also present @callmesmile @naymhapz @jobeliever @ciadanmea @netswriting @virgoxsy @annetimistic @mrexperienciado to give support and inspire others to join. Other Hive bloggers who were not present but also initiate to invite others to join and hear about this platform were ma'ám @dehai and @melit79. With all the support, the second batch of Hive Orientation was made possible.
The Orientation Proper
The orientation was facilitated by @indayclara as she set the mood in a friendly and positive manner. As she starts to facilitate the orientation, she asked me and @missjoycee why we wanted to bring Hive to others and what life-changing experiences brought about Hive to us.
With Hive, we can have our satellite where we can share our experiences and whereabouts of life. It was great for introverts like me and afraid of talking to others. It was also our mirror to the world where we can read a lot of information and have friends from different parts of the world.
After sharing our own experiences, @indayclara also asked the participants about what hobbies they love and what they can share with Hive. In this friendly manner, everybody openly shares their hobbies and future blogs they would be writing on.
Further, she talked about the helped brought about OCD Onboarding Program to new bloggers. With this program, it will continuously support new bloggers as we start to explore the platform. She clearly emphasized the dos and don'ts when we do our blogs.
Afterward, the witty sir @ybanezkim26 talked about his experiences with Hive and how long he has been on the platform, and what life-changing career Hive brought to his life.
With all the knowledge shared by Sir Kim, the attendees critically listened to all the words and information shared by him. He further emphasized that we just don't write and drop our blogs but also engagement with others must be encouraged so that we will be heard from other bloggers. Consistency and engagement is the key to staying longer on Hive.
The last to share about the Peakd Interface is sir @intoy.bugoy. He emphasized that many tools can be used to share your writings, but Peakd is very much friendly to starters. He showed clearly how to write their blogs on Peakd by giving them a sample.
With his talk, the participants were enlightened and eager to start blogging already.
The Open Forum
After their talks, open forums and questions were raised by the participants. As I observed, participants were very much happy that they were informed about this platform and wanted to bring their whole family in.
They were very much grateful for the onboarding orientation for they learn so much about this platform and will be guided as they will about to start their journey on Hive.
Stronger Bond with Food
The participants were given simple snacks. During the orientation, we just don't give them full knowledge about Hive but also sharing them the blessings we received because of Hive. It was fun sharing.
After the orientation, to strengthen our bonding and expanding family, the teacher bloggers also contribute foods to share for our lunch. Before the orientation, with the help of our GC, we had some conversations about what to prepare.
I also let my mother prepare "hanging rice" for the orientation, and gladly my mother was very much happy preparing it. And I also wanted to share my baked macaroons with everyone, so I decided to bring some.
With the simple food we share, our tummies were full. It's not about the lavish food that we share that will make us happy, but the memories created and the laughter shared as the extended family of Hive.
That was a great day for everyone! That's all for today's blog my Hive friends.
Have a nice day everyone!
