In this series, I will review one unit at a time, picking them randomly.
So let me spin the wheel again and see what I get:
Blood Angels, Gabriel Seth
10th Edition Index
Technically speaking, you will find the rules for Gabriel Seth under the Blood Angels. But he is NOT a Blood Angel.
Gebriel Seth is the Chapter Master of the Flesh Tearers Chapter, a Successor Chapter of the Blood Angels. So when you field him, you can use all of the units from the Blood Angels Codex/Index, except for the other Epic Heroes that are found only in the Blood Angels Chapter.
Where the Blood Angels have some vampiric tendencies they hide from the eyes of other Imperials (and the Inquisition), the Flesh Tearers are worse - Known as Berserkers, rumoured to be cannibals. Worlds garrisoned by Flesh Tearers often fear these Space Marines as much as they fear any enemy.
He is 90pts to field.

Weapons
Ranged:
A most basic Bolt Pistol
12" Range, 1 Shots, Hitting on 2+. S4, AP0 and 1 Damage.
It has the Pistol Keyword of course.
Melee:
Here is where Seth shines!
Blood Reaver
6 Attacks, Hitting on 2+, S8, AP-2 and 3 Damage each.
With Sustained hits 1 - 6's to Hit will give you more hits!
Abilities
Lord of Slaughter
While leading a unit, Gabriel's unit can Advance and Charge.
Whirlwind of Gore
Every time he fights, he gets +1 Attack to his melee weapon for every 5 enemy models within 6" of his model! Wow!
I would love to see him pile into a unit of 20 Ork Boyz... 10 Attacks!
Thoughts
Scary and simple! I don't think his model is available any more. Should I get the opportunity to buy him second-hand I shall!
Otherwise, when the time comes, I may need to custom build one!
