Blessed Wednesday. We are already at the end of the month and it is amazing how fast time is advancing. Entering the fifth month of the year when I feel like it was yesterday that we celebrated Christmas and New Year, that's why I encourage you to make the most of the time, to use it well in a way that brings benefits to our lives.

Bendecido miércoles. Ya estamos a fin de mes y es impresionante lo rápido que está avanzando el tiempo. Entrar al quinto mes del año cuando siento que fue ayer que celebramos la navidad y el año nuevo, es por eso que les animo a aprovechar al máximo el tiempo, a usarlo bien de forma que traiga provecho a nuestras vidas.

Today I share with you a nice bracelet, this is something peculiar because I could not tell you that it came from this or that inspiration, I just set out to work with wooden beads that I had stored for some time. These beads are flat and look like perforated seeds, I'm not sure, and the other one is made of composite painted with acrylic.

Hoy les comparto un bonito brazalete, este es algo peculiar pues no les podría decir que salió de tal o cual inspiración, solo me dispuse a trabajar con cuentas de madera que tenía almacenadas desde hace tiempo. Está cuentas son planas y parecen semillas perforadas, la verdad no estoy segura, y la otra es de compuesto pintado con acrílico.

I used a piece of chain with 28 links, 28 semi-flat beads and one square bead. A string of fuchsia colored Chinese thread, a pair of 4 mm balls and 4 neoprene beads. Let's see the details.

Utilicé un trozo de cadena con 28 eslabones, 28 cuentas semi planas y una cuadrada. Un cordón de hilo chino color fucsia, un par de balines de 4 mm y 4 cuentas de neopreno. Veamos los detalles.

We start by knotting the Chinese thread with a lark's knot and leave about 15 centimeters for the arboretums. Now we pass both ends of the Chinese thread through the center of a black bead and then back through the center of the link. We repeat the procedure until we reach the end of the chain.

Comenzamos anudando el hilo chino con un nudo alondra y dejamos unos 15 centímetros para los arbolarios. Ahora seguimos pasamos ambos extremos del hilo chino por el centro de una cuenta negra y luego de regreso por el centro del eslabón. Repetimos el procedimiento hasta llegar al final de la cadena.

In the last link, we tie a simple knot and at the ends of the cords we place the neoprene beads, passing two strands in each bead and knotting. We cut the excess thread and seal with a lighter.

En el último eslabón, realizamos un nudo simple y en los extremos de los cordones colocamos las cuentas de neopreno, pasando dos hebras en cada cuenta y anudamos. Cortamos el hilo sobrante y sellamos con un encendedor.

The other bracelet is much simpler to make. We pass a square bead of pink wood and on each side we place some flat wooden beads and finally the pellets. We knotted to prevent it from running. We place a neoprene bead on the ends and knot and then cut the excess thread and seal them with the lighter. For both bracelets we made Franciscan knots so that it can be done to introduce the hand.

La otra pulsera es mucho más sencilla de realizar. Pasamos una cuenta cuadrada de madera de color rosa y a cada lado colocamos unas cuentas de madera planas y finalmente los balines. Anudamos para evitar que se corra. Colocamos una cuenta de neopreno en las puntas y anudamos para luego cortar los sobrantes de hilo y los sellamos con el encendedor. Para ambas pulseras realizamos nudos franciscanos de manera que se pueda realizar para introducir la mano.

This is how we made this pair of bracelets. Yes, a little different, but I like them. They can be very interesting things when we sit down to create without a preconceived pattern, just following our intuition and also produces some expectation because we do not know what will result. The whole process I was crossing my fingers that it would be at least acceptable, so it was very satisfying to see that I did like what I had done with the wooden beads. I hope you like it too. Es así como realizamos este par de pulseras. Si, algo diferentes, pero me agradan. Pueden resultar cosas muy interesantes cuando nos sentamos a crear sin un patrón preconcebido, solo siguiendo nuestra intuición y también produce cierta expectativa porque no sabemos qué resultará. Todo el proceso estuve cruzando los dedos para que quedara al menos aceptable, así que fue muy satisfactorio ver que si me gustaba lo que había realizado con las cuentas de madera.
