El mes de mayo es un mes inspirador para nuestras madres. Los hijos vamos de tienda en tienda buscando regalos para nuestras madres biológicas y las otras que no son de sangre, sin embargo se han ganado ese lugar.
Yo tengo muchas amigas que son como una madre más y las que no tienen edad para ser mi madre, entonces es porque son una madre ejemplar y se me antoja hacerles regalos.
Yo tengo una amiga especial. Ella está al inicio del post luciendo el regalo que les voy a presentar en el paso a paso.
Ella se llama Adela, es profesora de Francés, es mi amiga, madrina de mi hijo y una madre incondicional. Cuando se trata de ayudar a otra persona no pone reparos, rara vez la veo triste o enojada y es una persona única sobre la tierra.
Adela hace unos meses atrás se compró un anillo, en cuanto llegó a la casa me llamó para mostrarlo. Yo rapidamente recordé que tenía unas cuentas con un color parecido al del anillo y se me ocurrió la idea.
A Adela le gusta el color metálico plateado que parece viejo, o sea, con tonos oscuros, así que no lo pensé dos veces y enseguida me di a la tarea de conseguir el resto de los materiales.
Acá en Cuba a veces se nos dificultan los insumos, entonces tenemos que comprarlos a personas que los compran en otros países, se los venden a otras personas aquí por grandes cantidades y luego estas personas nos lo venden a los artesanos a un precio generalmente alto. Por eso muchas veces no podemos crear como nos gustaría.
Pero esto a mi no me fue un obstáculo, yo tenía que crear algo bonito y sencillo, sobre todo eso, sencillo, para que Adela lo apreciara y le gustara. Algún accesorio que fuera liviano y si eran aretes, tendrían que ser pequeños.
Entonces ya había comprado hilo elástico, podía hacer una pulsera y unos aretes. Muy sencillos, al gusto de mi amiga.
Ahora sí, manos a la obra.
MATERIALES
Hilo elástico
Cuentas con el color y forma de preferencia
Aguja con el ojo mediano
2 pasadores para aretes
Alambre fino para bisutería.
Ya conocemos los materiales y vamos manos a la obra. Son pasos muy sencillos, no tienen gran dificultad.
PASO A PASO
Ponemos el hilo elástico en la aguja y comenzamos a pasar las cuentas una por una
Con cuidado vamos midiendo el ancho de la muñeca para que no quede apretada pero tampoco muy ancha y se pueda caer. Cuando tenemos el tamaño perfecto entonces cortamos y hacemos un nudo
Aseguramos el cierre de nuestra pulsera para que no se vaya a romper y cortamos el hilo de manera que se vea poco el cierre o que no se vea para que esté más estético.
Ahora para los aretes, cortamos dos pedazos pequeños de alambre para bisutería y manualidades y ponemos las dos cuentas.
Las medimos bien y las ponemos en los pasadores para aretes. Aseguramos para que no se caigan. Y analizamos como se ve el conjunto.
Las envolvemos juntas para que se vean mejor
A mi amiga le encantó su regalo, sobre todo por lo sencillo. Además ella me dijo, que lo mejor que tiene es que yo usé mi tiempo pensando en ella.

The month of May is an inspiring month for our mothers. We children go from store to store looking for gifts for our biological mothers and the others who are not related by blood, yet they have earned that place.
I have many friends who are just like any other mother, and some aren't old enough to be my mother. It's because they are exemplary mothers that I crave giving them gifts.
I have a special friend. She's at the beginning of the post showing off the gift I'm going to show you in the step-by-step guide.
Her name is Adela; she's a French teacher, my friend, my son's godmother, and a devoted mother. When it comes to helping another person, she doesn't hesitate. I rarely see her sad or angry, and she's a unique person on earth.
Adela bought a ring a few months ago. As soon as she arrived home, she called me to show it to her. I quickly remembered she had some beads in a similar color to the ring, and the idea came to me.
Adela likes the metallic silver color that looks antique, meaning it has dark tones, so I didn't think twice and immediately set about the task of obtaining the necessary materials.
Here in Cuba, supplies are sometimes difficult to obtain, so we have to buy them from people in other countries. They sell them to other people here in large quantities, and then these people sell them to us artisans at a generally high price. That's why we often can't create the way we would like.
But this wasn't an obstacle for me. I had to create something beautiful and simple, above all, simple, so that Adela would appreciate and like it. Some lightweight accessory, and if they were earrings, they would have to be small.
So, I had already bought elastic thread, so I could make a bracelet and some earrings. Very simple, to my friend's liking.
Now, let's get to work.
MATERIALS

Now that we know the materials, let's get to work. These are very simple steps, but they're not very difficult.
STEP BY STEP
We put the elastic thread on the needle and begin threading the beads one by one.
Carefully measure the width of your wrist so that it's not too tight, but not too wide and can fall off. When we have the perfect size, we cut it and tie a knot.
We secure the clasp of our bracelet so it doesn't break, and we cut the thread so that the clasp is barely visible, or so that it's not visible at all, for a more aesthetically pleasing look.
Now for the earrings, we cut two small pieces of jewelry and craft wire and attach the two beads.
We measure them carefully and place them on the earring pins. We secure them so they don't fall out. And we analyze how the whole thing looks.
We wrapped them together so they look better.
My friend loved her gift, especially because it was so simple. She also told me that the best thing about it was that I spent my time thinking about her.
