I want to show you on this beautiful evening a beautiful elegant dress that I have been making these past few days. This dress is for a client; she chose a model as a reference, which is this one in the image here:

Although the dress is a soft color, she chose to make it in black and it looks even more elegant. The model is also the same and I feel that this type of dress looks perfect in fabrics that fall so that it looks very good. In today's process, I will be showing you step by step how I did it. I proceed to first sew the back waist pieces on the edge where the closure goes, then we will sew the darts for each size, both the front and back. The front ones are 12 cm long and the back ones 15-16 cm long. We mark a point the length of the dart to guide me and I will sew both darts.

Once the pieces are sewn, it is time to sew the bias bindings that we will place or the straps in the front part of the opening at the bottom of the neck. Then we sew the sleeves and make small pleats to gather them. Then we will sew the sides of the dress with overlock stitching and straight stitching.

Finally it is time to sew the elastic around the sleeve, in this case we measure the arm circumference, place it 1 cm less and cut the elastic, sew it around the contour and then sew inwards with a straight seam, then I will sew the skirt part next to the blouse of the dress (the top part) and we will also sew the straps and bias trim or neckline, then I will sew the closure along the edge of the dress in the back, I started to sew it on the left side then the right and re-sewed the closure with a straight seam, I have sewn the edge of the dress at the bottom and made a hem of approximately 2 cm for the hem, thus finishing this happy creation.
