Hello everyone
A beautiful morning and lovely day to you all, I believe you are doing great today at your respective places.
I want to say a big thank you in appreciation to your support and encouragement to my content, it always keeps me going and makes me want to share more of my creativity with you.
Last week, I wrote a post on how I made a beautiful straight gown with a creative design of three tires of 90° flare sleeve for my friend who insisted a make an outfit for her after seeing my creativity made for others during Christmas. After making hers sometimes last week, I had left over from the fabric used after a successful completion of her outfit, I suggested the remaining fabric to be used to make a simple gown for her little daughter, he agreed to it as she was so happy that the remaining fabric can be put into good use for her daughter.
I took the little girl's measurement and set to work on the fabric. Initially, I never thought the fabric could be enough to make a full flare but after taking the necessary measurement, I discovered it will be enough so I went ahead to cut a full flare of 360° using her waist circumference measurement while I used a drafted pattern to cut out the upper bodice.
After cutting and sewing the upper bodice together, I decided to make the sleeve stylish as I cut out a 90° flare to make the sleeve and I hem it with a black bias tape.
Finally, I sew the sleeve to the gown to make a complete outfit for my friend's little girl.
It was delivered to my friend and she was glad with what I was able to make from her left over fabric. She promised to wear hers with her daughter's to church on Sunday.
