Les quiero compartir lo que estuve haciendo este fin de semana. De cómo convertir una base de una teja, en una para portar varios mini materos.
Semanas atrás se me había caído la base que sostenía una teja pintada, la cual adornaba mi espacio de plantas y la teja se rompió quedando la base desocupada...y como no tenía otra teja, se me ocurrió hacer varias mini masetas reciclando latas de aluminio, y así ocupar ese espacio con mis lindos cactus 🌵.
Siempre tengo algunas latas para hacer mis manualidades, pero me gustan más usarlas para mis plantas y decorarlas con diferentes materiales, siendo mis favoritos piedras, ramitas, cordones de yute o mecatillo...en fin termino colocando algunas cositas que veo y que se verán muy lindas.
Y así vamos reciclando y dándole otra vida a materiales que antes solo se despachaban. Ahora pienso varias veces en desechar algo, porque de seguro lo podré usar en algo o crear algo lindo y útil.

I want to share with you what I was doing this weekend. How to turn a tile base into one to hold several mini planters.
A few weeks ago, the base holding a painted tile that decorated my planter space fell off, and the tile broke, leaving the base empty... and since I didn't have another tile, I thought I'd make several mini planters by recycling aluminum cans and filling that space with my beautiful cacti 🌵.
I always have some cans to make my crafts, but I prefer to use them for my plants and decorate them with different materials, my favorites being stones, twigs, jute cords, or string... I end up adding little things I see that will look really nice.
And so we recycle and give new life to materials that were previously only shipped. Now I often think about throwing something away, because I'm sure I can use it for something else or create something beautiful and useful.
Le muestro ahora todos los materiales que utilice:
- Una base para colgar las mini masetas.
- Latas recicladas de aluminio en varias formas.
- Cortezas de árbol, ramas y piedras as pintadas.
- Cordones de mecatillo, hojas plásticas , tela de yute.
- Alambre de cobre, pinza y silicón.
I'll now show you all the materials I used:
- A base to hang the mini pots.
- Recycled aluminum cans in various shapes.
- Painted tree bark, branches, and stones.
- Rope cords, plastic sheets, jute fabric.
- Copper wire, clothespins, and silicone.

Procedure
Paso # 01.
Teniendo todos los materiales a utilizar...empecé abriendo los orifios de drenaje y le coloque alambre para sujetarlas a la base.
Step #01.
Having all the materials I needed, I started by opening the drainage holes and attaching wire to hold them to the base.
Paso # 02.
Decore las talas, unas con las cortezas otras con la tela de yute y mecatillo y le coloque las hojitas y piedras pintadas.
Step 2.
Decorate the trees, some with bark, others with jute and jute fabric, and add painted leaves and stones.
Paso # 03.
Luego le coloque la tierra prepara y procedi a plantar los cactus.
Step 3.
Then I added the prepared soil and proceeded to plant the cacti.

Lista todas comencé a colocarlas y fijarlas a la base.
Después le fui poniendo algunos detalles para que dieran mejor vistas, como las flores y mariposas.
Step 4.
With everything ready, I began placing and securing them to the base.
Then I added some details to give them a better look, like the flowers and butterflies.
Y así de linda se ve mi nueva base con las mini masetas colgante de cactus.
