Well Hivers I had a call from my doctor contact in Cebu yesterday. They have got a supply of filtered air pumps that will blow cool air into the facemasks and make it a lot more comfortable to wear for long periods. Unfortunately most of the doctors are now using 3M reusable masks and they don't have a connection for the 3M filter port. Hence the call to see if I can work something out with a 3D print.
Thanks to Dr Fidel for modelling and the photo
I'm working a little blind as I don't have a sample of the pump but I have a few photos and I only really need the diameter of feed hose to make a good stab at designing something that will fit the 3M filter connection.
So a bit of time on Tinkercad and this is what I've come up with.
Together it looks like this .
It will need a tweak when I get the correct diameters from Dr Fidel but I don't think it will be that far out. It prints ok with the overhangs which was my concern.
Feels go to put something back and its been a bit quiet without the printer running 24/7.
