I have been making bracelets with the colors of my murga for quite some time now, and while I always find someone loving and very kind to share this with and give them one, for their birthday or just for good will, this time it's special. While macramé weaving is not very difficult for me, it is somewhat tedious because of the time it takes and the margin of error, i.e. zero. haha At least in my experience, if you make a mistake very little, it shows a lot. It's a shame, but it requires my full attention so I can't always do it to distract myself.

He estado haciendo pulseras con los colores de mi murga hace bastante tiempo,y si bien siempre encuentro alguien amoroso y muy amable con quien compartir esto y regalarle una, por su cumpleaños o por la buena voluntad simplemente, esta vez es especial. Si bien no es muy difícil para mi el tejido en macramé, es algo tedioso por el tiempo que lleva y el margen de error, es decir, cero. jaja Al menos en mi experiencia, si te equivocas muy poco, se nota mucho. Es una pena, pero requiere toda mi atención así que no siempre puedo hacerlo para distraerme.

Estoy haciendo varias de ellas, pero no para regalar, ni vender. Sino ambas. Las regalarle a la murga para que las venda y así colaborar al fondo de dinero que estamos armando para carnaval. Espero profundizar en este hecho más adelante. Pero aquí, lo que me acomete al día de hoy.

Tengo ya 5 pulseras de estas, les tomé varias fotos para que las puedan apreciar bien. Y les muestro también como las suelo terminar, siendo hilo encerado el elemento usado, al quemarlas logro que se una este final y no se desarme. Como esto es muy artesanal, difícilmente queden iguales, pero seguro que son todas muy parecidas. Lo interesante viene aquí, cuando ayer me confirmaron que van a donar unas chapitas con el logo de la murga para poder colocarle. Pero estas pulseras son muy anchas, así que me puse en campaña para hacer unas más pequeñas.

Ayer mismo comencé las pulseras y corté los hilos, es más fácil trabajar así para mi, de esta manera no lo convierto en algo cansador, sino algo en qué ocupar mi tiempo. Ya el fin de semana cuando me brinden las chapitas podré ver si sirven y tomarles mejores fotos.

It makes me proud and makes me feel loved. It's a great detail that we can wear, and that, by itself doesn't cost much.

En mi caso utilizo siempre cuatro colores, pero seguramente puedes usar mas o menos segun tu gusto, y utilizo 3 hilados a color, y 3 hilados en negro, para así darle el toque mayormente de negro que tiene la murga. En el pasado les conté exactamente cómo realizar una pulsera, no es el caso del día de hoy, porque vengo con un proyecto grande de donarlas para hacer el dinero y es por eso que no les traigo un tutorial. El día que se los mostré, le regalé la pulsera a Martincito. Cada vez que nos cruzamos en un ensayo, él busca apurado en su muñeca, y me vuelve a agradecer, ya que sigue teniéndola allí. Me enorgullece y me hace sentir querida. Es un gran detalle que podemos llevar, y que, por sí solo no cuesta mucho.

Así que hablemos un poco del valor. No sabría tampoco ponerles un precio, realmente vender mis manualidades se me da fatal, pero lo bueno es que, aunque sean algo económico, si se venden rápido, mejor. Piénsalo así, para febrero no falta mucho y es tan interesante como estresante a nivel grupal, ir juntando el dinero, porque el precio de todo cambia constantemente y no sabemos cuánto podremos gastar en esas fechas.

Es por eso que, si hago 10 pulseras y se venden a 1 dólar cada una (aunque sea poco dinero en sí) esto ya serían 10 dólares que pude brindar al fondo común. Y me alegraría, ya que de todos modos, todos vamos a colaborar, así sea con nuestro tiempo, cocinando algo, o simplemente haciendo algo que vender y donar a la murga. El trabajo en equipo es muy redituable, entre todos nos ayudamos y nos apoyamos, es por eso que pedí la ayuda de Nicky y ella también va a realizar aros y pulseras. Creo que mientras más seamos colaborando, mejor.
Also, I forgot to tell you that a single spool of thread costs about a dollar, and I could make a lot more bracelets, than just 10. So, for a total of $4, I could surely, with work and time, make many more bracelets. I hope you find this idea nice, since I keep coming up with things to add and do for the murga, but sometimes, the lack of time is pressing and for that reason, even if it is humble, my way of collaborating is this. Además, olvidé decirles que un solo rollo de hilo cuesta cerca de un dólar, y podría hacer muchísimas más pulseras, que solo 10. Entonces, por un total de 4 dólares, seguramente podría, con trabajo y tiempo, hacer muchas pulseras más. Espero que esta idea les parezca bonita, ya que se me siguen ocurriendo cosas que añadir y hacer para la murga, pero a veces, la falta de tiempo es apremiante y por eso mismo, aunque sea humilde, mi manera de colaborar es esta.
