Comienza la época navideña y yo corro a buscar mis materiales de manualidades, porque cada año me gusta hacer cositas diferentes.
Esta temporada me recuerda mucho a mi niñez y a mis abuelos. A mi abuela le encantaba hacer manualidades, así que disfruto mucho hacerlas y pensar en ella.
Hoy realicé unos adornos para mi árbol de navidad, los coci a mano y los elaboré con fieltro.

The Christmas season is starting and I run to get my craft supplies, because every year I like to make different things.
This season reminds me a lot of my childhood and my grandparents. My grandmother loved to make crafts, so I really enjoy making them and thinking about her.
Today I made some ornaments for my Christmas tree, I baked them by hand and made them with felt.
Materiales que utilicé en este proyecto:

Lo primero que hago para comenzar es realizar unos moldes con papel para
marcarlos en el fieltro y así darle mejor forma.
Realicé un molde de árbol navideño, una estrella y una galleta jengibre.

I made a Christmas tree mold, a star and a gingerbread cookie.
La primera figura que haré será el árbol. Comenzaré marcando en el fieltro la figura con lapicero o marcador, haré una verde claro y una
verde oscura. También una verde oscura más pequeña, esta también la hago con el mismo molde pero la corto por dentro de la línea.
Ahora cosemos la más pequeña de la verde clara para crear un contraste, y voy a ponerle los aplique que me gusten y hacer una especie de estrellitas con hilo de algodón. Toda la decoración ya queda completamente a tu gusto.

El siguiente paso es coser la base que ya tenemos con la parte verde oscura, vamos a coser y dejamos un huequito para meter un poquito de relleno, puedes rellenarlo también con retacitos de alguna tela si no tienes relleno. Ya cuando tengamos la apariencia que queremos cerramos con la misma forma de la costura.
Luego uso un pedacito de cordón rojo y lo voy a coser en la parte superior del árbol para poder colgarlo, y pego una piedra plana plástica para tapar la costura en la parte frontal y también sustituye la estrella.
The next step is to sew the base we already have with the dark green part, we are going to sew and leave a little hole to put a little stuffing, you can also fill it with scraps of some fabric if you don't have stuffing. Once we have the look we want, we close it with the same shape of the seam.
Then I use a small piece of red cord and sew it to the top of the tree so I can hang it, and I glue a flat plastic stone to cover the seam on the front and also replace the star.
Comienzo ahora con el corazón, repito y marco mi molde en el fieltro rojo, y recorto dos figuras. Ahora voy a bordar con hilo de coser unas espiguitas blancas para darle un toque más navideño y más delicado. Lo realicé por una sola cara.
I start now with the heart, repeat and mark my mold on the red felt, and cut out two figures. Now I am going to embroider with sewing thread some little white spikes to give it a more christmassy and delicate touch. I did it on one side only.
Luego coso ambas tapas, dejo el hoyo para rellenar, meto el cordón rojo y cierro con la misma costura manual y aseguro el corazón y el cordón a la vez.
Then I sew both covers, leave the hole to fill, insert the red cord and close with the same hand stitching and secure the heart and the cord at the same time.
Para terminar este proyecto navideño, voy a elaborar una galleta de jengibre. Siempre comienzo marcando mi molde en el fieltro, en este caso el color camel. Recorto, elijó mi cara frontal y voy a pegar un cordón blando donde se supone irían las cremitas blancas de la galleta.
To finish this Christmas project, I'm going to make a gingerbread cookie. I always start by marking my mold on the felt, in this case the camel color. I cut out, choose my front face and glue a soft string where the white creme cookies are supposed to go.
Luego pego los detalles de los botones con unos abalorios planos, también puedes bordarlos. Bordo unas mostacillas negras para hacer los ojos y dos rojitas a los lados para hacer los cacheticos.
Then I glue the details of the buttons with flat beads, you can also embroider them. I embroider some black beads to make the eyes and two red beads on the sides to make the little cheeks.
Luego voy a coser ambas tapas de la galleta, dejando un huequito abajo para rellenar y coso el cordón rojo en la parte superior para que quede listo.
Then I'll sew both cookie tops together, leaving a little hole at the bottom to fill in and sew the red string on top to make it ready.
Ya tengo los tres adornos navideños listos, me gustaron muchísimo como quedaron. Fue un trabajo bonito y bien especial de hacer, la costura manual es muy relajante para mi.
