Old photo of Kitten Crypta
My two cats are there at home as usual
My Home's White Cat - Mochu
My week’s cat blog. Last Saturday I wrote about kitten Crypta off from my life into another home, that kitten is settled and happy with her new family.
My life now revolves around my two house cats, however, other cats are also on my preview.

Real scenario of Meow cat - Pregnant or feeding?
Meow cat rushes to me in expectation of some wet food
My flat cat, Meow, I am back to seeing her in the early mornings with a bit of wet food. With 2 helpless stray kittens found of late, one being Crypta and another most probably her sister Misty, Meow has to be spayed/neutered soon.
This is stray kitten Misty
She is assumed to be Crypta's sibling
However, no one was sure on her exact scenario,my hunch is she was pregnant around April end and on May she looked like she was feeding because she was carrying about a lot of milk sacks that time. However, she always looked fat and mistakenly was presumed to be pregnant by me, when she was feeding and her milk was accumulating all over her body.
Spotting of 2 kittens in a sealed empty plot opposite my flat
5 days ago, after I meet Meow cat and was wondering what’s actually with her, I spotted her kittens in an empty plot, surrounded by bush overgrowth, secured by a compound wall, there were 2 playful kittens there, they were her kittens. I could see all this from my home balcony.
Calico cat Meow spotted
Meow cat is a Calico breed of cat, as she has a pattern on her coat quoted with orange, and black patches. She is a beautiful cat and her super friendly nature only adds more substance rounding things up with a nice likable personality to this beautiful cat.
Meow being followed by her kitten
Soon, after that day I found Meow with kittens, I spotted her again chilling with her kids and they were still sucking milk from her, as of 4 days ago when she was lying down.
Meow with her kittens, I think they were feeding
Meow has been a very loving mother for sure, even today I saw her affectionately licking her kittens.
Ginger coloured kittens of this colorful mother cat!!
Her kittens are ginger coloured, super playful all the time whenever I spot them. Most often it’s not possible to spot the cats because of the overbearing bushy growth and coverage in that area.
At first when I spotted the kittens, I was not sure they were Meow’s kittens because they were not of her colour, but a few hours later when I spotted Meow herself with the kittens following her, I knew that she was the mother of those little cats.
The kittens have probably taken up the colour of Meow’s mate (who ever that cat was), and since Meow’s Calico breed of cat is really rare, she got herself a mate of this ginger complexion with the result of which Meow’s kittens are ginger coloured cats.
I have spotted these little cats emerge climbing up the bush growth. They seem absolutely happy there, enjoying the open, busy playing and getting those first hand experiences of spotting butterflies and birds, besides biting some twig or other in the ground!!
Urgent task awaits us of spaying Meow
These undeniably cute aspects apart, a serious matter and task awaits us(if I indeed am helped by two others in my flat premises or else it’s just me). And that will be the initiative of getting Meow spayed/neutered/sterilized.
This is required as the girl has birthed 3 kittens already, whose future looks uncertain although those cats don’t care.
And Meow can get pregnant again, she’s already roaming leaving her kittens alone most often I feel since yesterday. I have read after kittens turn about 2 months, Mother cat goes into heat geared to mate and reproduce.
Her kittens look pretty much off their infancy and Meow’s milk sacks have gone, it maybe right time to spay her, else it will get complicated. Therefore next week we have to spay Meowji on priority.
The kittens are the reason, Meow’s spaying is delayed
However, the question of the kittens remain, the sole reason Meow’s spraying is kept for the next week is for her kittens, so they can be as big as possible when their Mom is taken away, they have to be alone in that bushy compound wall area till Mom is operated and healed and that would take another 3 to 4 days atleast. Hope all goes well.
Yesterday, I found out from a conversation with the couple who feed the cat at their flat door, that Meow has 3 kittens, not two. Ok, then have to spray Meow next week positively, wish me luck!!
Crypta’s photos sent as an update by her family who adopted her!!
Meanwhile here are Crypta’s photos that I was sent by her new family, she’s well settled and cared for there, thank heavens for that!!
