This afternoon, I have just finished reading a book written by the father of psychoanalysis, namely Sigmund Freud. In a theory written by Sigmund Freud, he said:
Most human behavior is driven by some unconscious motives. The mind is like an iceberg that floats on the surface of the sea. The visible top of the iceberg is only 12% of the conscious mind. While the part that is not visible by 88% is the subconscious mind.
From Sigmund Freud's explanation, it is very clear that in the conscious mind this will greatly affect the development of thought patterns and habits, which can create a person's character. In this case, it is similar to the data that is on the hard disk of a computer, which stores various information, it is the same as the mechanism of the subconscious mind.
Therefore, the subconscious mind has the nature of long-term memory, which can be ensured that every event or thing that is thought and done will be stored properly. The subconscious mind has a neutral nature so it cannot distinguish between things that are imagination and reality. The subconscious mind also cannot distinguish between positive data and negative data. Everything is equally stored neatly in the memory of the subconscious mind.
If the subconscious mind can distinguish which information is negative and which is positive, then every human being will never have a bad memory in his life. The subconscious mind also works without the knowledge of the conscious mind, so not everyone will realize that every moment the subconscious mind will record various events that occur in his life.
If we observe some of the explanations above, we can see that, we can sort out every thought, speech, or action, and some habits we do, so that the data in our subconscious mind is positive. Because it can not distinguish information that is negative and positive as well as can give an unfavorable effect on human life.
For example, if someone is in a moment of lack of enthusiasm and then he says to himself "let's get excited" then immediately his body can be excited. This is because the subconscious mind can respond to whatever you are currently accessing. with the word "excited" serves as a trigger for your memory, so that the experience of the spirit that you once had and felt will rise again.
In general, the memory of the subconscious mind can access whenever you want. As a file on the hard disk, as long as you know the name of the file or do some searching, it's easy for you to access the memory again. With a mechanism when you remember and bring back an event, both auditory and visual, to feeling (kinesthetic). As long as what you remember is the same, then the memory can be brought back.
All you need is a trigger in presenting the memory, such as color, name, form, appearance, song, sound, event, memory, and anything related to the event. Then it will be very extraordinary if you can optimize the subconscious mind in everyday life.
