What a joy and excitement to greet you on this Tuesday. Our week has just begun and we need a lot of energy and motivation to achieve our goals.
These days the heat has increased in my city Cumaná. So it is necessary to take care of the sun's rays and stay hydrated. It is important to consider drinking refreshing beverages that provide important nutrients to our health.
Yesterday I went for a walk with a friend from Hive which I enjoyed very much. However, even though I was wearing my hat, I realized how strong the sun's rays were and I felt very hot. Before my return home I decided to buy some fruits and vegetables to prepare refreshing and nutritious drinks.
Today I decided to make a smoothie with antioxidant power combining two very nutritious fruits high in vitamin C and fiber mainly. I also wanted to add to my drink a very refreshing ingredient such as ginger. This provided a very exquisite flavor that enhanced the flavor of the peach and papaya.
I thought it was important to add mint that served to garnish and be part of my drink. Incredible these acid, fresh and sweet flavors with consistency and nutritional contribution. I want to emphasize that with only four ingredients we can achieve a fantastic and very powerful preparation.
The amounts of the ingredients I used were for two glasses. I hope you can make this preparation at home. Here is my preparation.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 medium peaches.
- 200 grams of Papaya.
- 2 sprigs of mint
- 1 small piece of ginger of approximately 1 cm.
- 250 ml of drinking water.
PREPARATION
Once I selected my ingredients. I cut the piece of Papaya and Ginger that I required for my preparation. I proceeded to wash the peaches and cut them into chunks. These I added to the blender.
Then I peeled, washed and cut into smaller pieces the ginger and added it to the blender together with the peach. In the same way I peeled, washed and cut the Papaya and added it to the blender. Once all my ingredients were ready I added the water and blended.
I prepared two glasses with ice to drink my drink very cold. I could not forget my nice glass holders that I won and that are very useful when I prepare my delicious drinks. Once the smoothie mixture was placed in the glasses, I added the mint branches to my drink.

Que alegría y emoción saludarlos en este día martes. Nuestra semana apenas comienza y necesitamos de muchas energías y motivación para cumplir nuestras metas.
En estos días se ha incrementado el calor en mi ciudad Cumaná. Por lo que es necesario cuidarse de los rayos del sol y mantenerse hidratado. Es importante considerar tomar bebidas refrescantes y que aporten nutrientes importantes a la salud
Ayer realicé un paseo con una amiga de Hive el cual disfruté mucho. Aunque les cuento que a pesar de llevar mi sombrero me di cuenta de lo fuerte de los rayos del sol y sentía mucho calor. Antes de mi regreso a casa decidí comprar algunas frutas y vegetales para preparar bebidas refrescantes y que aporten nutrientes.
Decidí hoy hacer un smoothie con poder antioxidante combinando dos frutas muy nutritivas con alto contenido en vitamina C y fibra principalmente. De igual manera quise agregarle a mi bebida un ingrediente muy refrescante como es el jengibre. Este aportó un sabor muy exquisito que potenció el sabor del durazno y la Papaya.
Me pareció importante agregar hierbabuena que sirvió para adornar y formar parte de mi bebida. Increíbles estos sabores ácidos , frescos y dulces con consistencia y aporte nutricional. Quiero destacar que con sólo cuatro ingredientes podemos lograr una preparación fantástica y muy poderosa.
Las cantidades de los ingredientes que utilicé fueron para dos vasos. Espero puedan realizar ésta preparación en sus casas. A continuación mi preparación.
INGREDIENTES
• 2 Duraznos medianos.
• 200 gramos de Papaya.
• 2 ramitas de Hierbabuena
• 1 trocito de jengibre de aproximadamente 1cm
• 250 ml de agua potable.
PREPARACIÓN
Una vez seleccionado mis ingredietes. Corté el trozo de Papaya y Jengibre que requería para mí preparación. Procedí a lavar los duraznos y córtalos en trozos. Estos los agregué a la licuadora.
Posteriormente pelé, lavé y corté en trozos más pequeños el jengibre y agregué a la licuadora junto al durazno. De esta misma forma pelé, lavé y corté la Papaya e incorporé a la licuadora. Una vez todos mis ingredientes listos agregué el agua y licué.
Preparé dos vasos de vidrios con hielo para tomar mi bebida bien fría. No le pude olvidar de mis lindos portavasos que me gané y que me son de mucha utilidad cuando preparo mis deliciosas bebidas. Una vez ya colocada la mezcla de mi smoothie en los vasos, le coloque las ramas de Hierbabuena a mi bebida.
Me quedó excelente mi smoothie espero lo puedan preparar en sus casas para refrescarse y a la vez dar valor energético y nutricional a su cuerpo. Un placer una vez más compartir mis preparaciones con todos ustedes 🤗.
