Greetings dear friends of Amazing Drinks. Today I share with you a drink that combines two of my favorite fruits, passion fruit and pineapple. As I was passing by a fruit and vegetable store, I couldn't help but buy some slices of pineapple already cut and packaged. The truth is that I prefer to buy them like that, ready to eat, I find it very tedious to peel a pineapple.
I had been wanting to make passion fruit juice for days, I love to make it by boiling the peels, I missed that flavor, but for that it is necessary that the peels are smooth and in good condition, in short, beautiful. It turns out that in the same fruit store I saw some very beautiful passion fruit and I couldn't resist, I bought four. I went home happy with my fruits and instead of preparing the juices separately, I decided to combine both juices.
I love citrus fruits and this juice that I am sharing with you today provides vitamin C, fiber, contains antioxidant properties, strengthens the immune system and helps to improve the digestive process. It is important to highlight that what is extracted from passion fruit peels is called mesocarp, it is very fleshy and contains many properties, such as antioxidants, diuretics, as well as vitamins A and C, plus minerals such as iron and calcium
Ingredients
- 4 Parchitas or passion fruit (619 grs)
- 4 pineapple slices (171 grs)
- Sugar to taste
- 2 liters of water
Preparation
1.-. Wash the passion fruit, cut it in half, extract it and place it in the blender.
2.- Add 1.5 liters of water, blend, strain and store the juice in the refrigerator or cooler.
3.- We boil the passion fruit peels, once they are soft and have cooled, we extract the mesocarp that we will place in the blender. Add the juice that we have reserved, blend and add sugar to taste.
4.- Then, add the pineapple cut into small pieces, the rest of the water (1/2 liter) and blend again until the ingredients are well integrated.

Ingredientes
- 4 Parchitas o maracuyá (619 grs)
- 4 Rodajas de piña (171 grs)
- Azúcar al gusto
- 2 litros de agua
Preparación
1.-. Wash the passion fruit, cut it in half, extract the pulp and place it in the blender.
