I recently found a way to get my daughter to eat pineapple; except it's through a straw. When she has tried pineapple by itself, she didn't seem to like the acidity. This smoothie has banana mixed in with the pineapple, which mellows the extremely tart flavor. I made this for her today because she is sick and it has plenty of vitamin C. It's also a great summer drink too! This recipe makes enough for two people. You can either buy frozen fruit at the store, or chop up fresh fruit and freeze it ahead of time. Check out the easy steps below on how to make this delicious smoothie.
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Orange Juice
1 Cup Frozen Pineapple Chunks
1/2 Cup Frozen Banana (Sliced)
Step 1. Cut pineapple and banana into pieces and freeze overnight.
Step 2. Pour 1/2 Cup of orange juice into the blender.
Step 3. Add 1/2 Cup of milk to the blender.
(I went a little heavy on the bananas)
Step 3. Add 1/2 Cup pf frozen banana slices to the blender.
Step 4. Add 1 Cup of frozen pineapple chunks to the blender.
Step 5. Blend the mixture evenly. Stir in between blending for even fruit distribution, if needed.
