Hello, Amazing Drinks members! This is my first time posting my blog here, and I am excited to share the incredible drinks I've been making for the past six months. I decided to explore healthier options because I often rely on fast food and meat, which are easily accessible and affordable. However, six months ago, I embarked on a green juice journey to improve my health, and I now enjoy it every morning for detox. Because I believe that regularly consuming green juice can help detoxify the body supporting the liver and kidneys in eliminating toxins. Not only that it's packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Without further ado, here are the ingredients to create a healthy drink:
Ingredients (Adjust to your taste):
1 Celery (stalks)
1 Parsley
1 Cucumber
1 Apple
1 Lemon
1 Small size ginger
2 tablespoons Honey
2 cups water (optional coconut juice)
STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
First, gather all the ingredients and ensure that the blender is clean and ready to use. Thoroughly wash the leafy greens, vegetables, and fruit (apple).
Next, pick only the leaves from the parsley and place them in a bowl. Then, remove the leaves from the celery, as you only need the celery rib, and chop it into small pieces. After that, chop the apple and cucumber; for the cucumber, you can peel part of the skin off to add some texture. Finally, chop the ginger into smaller pieces, which will help the blender process everything more easily.
THE BLENDING PROCESS:
I add the ingredients to the blender, starting with the sliced cucumber, celery rib, chopped apples, ginger, and parsley. Finally, I added some water and honey to help with blending. I blend everything thoroughly until it's smooth. I don’t strain it, as I prefer my drinks to have fiber and I don’t want to waste any leafy greens or fruits.
This is now the end product. I drink one glass in the morning and another in the afternoon. No one in my family drinks this juice so I will consume this all by myself. It is healthy and I enjoyed my freshly made green juice. Drinking the juice with the pulp is very beneficial for my tummy. And I like it very much.
I hope you enjoy my recipe and thank you so much for reading my blog.
