Fruit season has arrived especially in my area, many seasonal fruit trees are currently bearing fruit profusely, and this is where the price of fruit is usually very low because every house or fruit farmer experiences a big harvest. And of course because the State of Indonesia is very wide and each region has its own pride, like the City of Binjai where I live which is famous for its rambutan fruit which is very thick with flesh, sweet fruit and not watery. Next time I will show you the very famous Rambutan Binjai.
However, tonight I will share recipes for fresh drinks that can be drunk and processed in cold or hot weather. My drink recipe this time is a simple drink made from pieces of Mango Kueni, chea seeds and palm sugar. Why is it called mango kueni because actually in my area this kueni is different from mango, even though it's still in the same category. The kueni fruit is a very fragrant fruit, has a slightly round fruit shape and has spots around the fruit. To enjoy the Keweni fruit, it must be peeled and washed clean so that the sap of the Kweni fruit cannot injure the mouth. Unlike mangoes, which I rarely wash, I just eat the flesh from the skin and the sap of the mangoes won't hurt my mouth.
To make this drink is very easy, and before we start the steps I will first prepare the ingredients needed
1. Kweni fruit
if in your country you have a lot of this fruit or you like this fruit you can use this fruit according to your needs, but here I will only use 1 kweni because with one kweni it is enough for me and my husband
2. Palm sugar
Palm sugar which functions as a sweetener in this drink I use 1 tablespoon after I cut it finely. Or if you like a sweeter taste you can use a little more palm sugar, the important thing is that the use of palm sugar is according to your taste and of course it has to be in accordance with the amount of fruit and water we use
3. Chea seeds
In this drink I use ½ tablespoon of che seeds
4. Water
The water I use to make this drink is 250 ML
How to make :
1. Peel the kweni fruit then wash it thoroughly, after that, slice the kweni fruit lengthwise or adjust it to your taste.
2. Boil or soak the chea seeds in hot water with ½ a small glass of water, so that the che seeds swell
3. The sliced palm sugar is then boiled with 250 ML of water until it boils and the palm sugar dissolves completely
4. You can serve the drink by placing chopped kweni fruit into a glass, then pouring the boiled palm sugar into the glass and placing the chea seeds into the drink.
This drink is named ROCO and I also don't know why it got like that. Congratulations on making this recipe and greetings from us Tomi and Maya from the City of BInjai, Indonesia
