I had one of my amazing moments two days ago when, for the first time, I made a fruit juice using my blender and a fridge to keep it cool. I felt so excited that for years, something I'd imagined myself doing would come to reality. After that, I made another drink yesterday with the remaining fruits because I did just as someone recommended that it would give a sweeter taste when I add milk or yoghurt.
Perhaps, you are still trying to get my point. Don't worry, I will explain more in the next paragraphs.
For a long time, I have watched videos of how people make different kinds of juices and smoothies and I would always desire such, too. It was like oppression for me during those periods. I had no blender or refrigerator then, and these tools deprived me of enjoying such a soft life where you'd make something cool for yourself instead of buying it outside.
After so many years, my dream of owning an electric blender and refrigerator came true. I felt on top of the world, but there was another issue. After getting my fridge this year in my new apartment, there was no light.
I prayed for the day the light would be fixed and restored so I can try making fruit juice and try many things with my gadgets. Fortunately and gracefully, light was restored, and for more than two weeks, I couldn't visit the big market until two days ago, where I got some fruits to make some smoothies fruit juice.
Mind you, I didn't know the difference between fruit juice and a smoothie before. I thought that once you have blended the fruits, whether it's a fruit juice or smoothie, they are the same. Not until I read someone's post yesterday and discovered the difference.
The ignorant me didn't even bother to check online until that discovery. I realised it was a fruit drink I made and not a smoothie because, unlike a smoothie, I extracted the liquid out after blending and discarded the shaft.
Okay, that was the whole story, and let's come back to how I made my fruit juice, which I found a sweet name for - PineMelApple Bliss. A combination of Pineapple, Apple, Watermelon and Milk.
Ingredients used for this drink:
- 1 cup of chopped pineapple
- 1 Apple ball
- 2 small sizes of watermelon
- 1 tin of milk
- Ice cubes
- Little water to add.
Steps to making it:
I rinsed the fruits very well to remove any dirt particles on them and to ensure good hygiene. Then, I sliced everything together and blended it all with a little water.
After blending, I sieved to extract the liquid from the shaft. Before, I used the blue jug to sieve, but it wasn't comfortable, so I moved it to a medium-sized bowl to make it easier. I went ahead and added the liquid milk into it.

I prepared some ice cubes, too and added them to the drink to give it a more chilled experience for me. The taste was sweet and I enjoyed my drink with some sandwiches I made.
Fruit juice is a healthy drink that has lots of benefits. The combination of the fruits and milk results in:
- A boost of hydration.
- Improves digestion.
- Supports immunity.
- Provides energy to the body system.
- Refreshes and rejuvenates the body.
