The heatwave has returned. Three days of rain weren't enough to cool the atmosphere, and I woke up to a relatively warm morning. Coffee and breakfast? Coffee, of course, and something fruity and cold for breakfast.
When I opened the fridge, there was some fruit inside. No one had touched it for a couple of days, and it would be a shame to throw it away. Everything will go into the blender.
No sooner said than done!
Diced melon and currants.
Pieces of watermelon and plums, which we call mirabelles.
Blueberries.
Half a lemon.
And finally, a few ice cubes. I could add milk, but I'm intolerant to it, so I'll skip it.
Another deciliter of water to make it more fluid, and that should be it.
Now, let's mix it up! 😀
The fruit smoothie is ready.
I'll pour it into a glass.
Refreshing, not too sweet, and very quick to prepare. Ideal for breakfast on a hot summer morning.
Would anyone else like to try? Takes just 10 minutes to prepare.
This was my first post in the Amazing Drinks Community. Maybe there will be more.
