Como siempre digo, no todos los días son iguales, y hoy fue un día cansón, por lo que necesitaba recuperar energías, y nada mejor para ello, que un delicioso batido, y esto es lo que precisamente les traigo hoy, un BATIDO DE YOGURT CON GUAYABA. Por cierto, también hago la observación que hoy no he salido en fotos haciendo mi amazing drink, pero de veras estaba cansada; sin embargo les recuerdo y reitero, que esta es una de las reglas de esta comunidad, independientemente del tiempo que tengan en la plataforma.

Today is the third batch of yogurt that I have made, from the 150 ml glass that I originally used, that is, more than three liters of yogurt have come out of it, with the same quality as the beginning. I make this comment because some people have asked me if they can use that artisanal yogurt to make more, and the answer is YES. So taking advantage of this delicious ingredient, I made my drink, let's get to the recipe!
Recientemente, compartí en la comunidad Foodies Bee Hive, mi receta para yogurt hecho en casa. Ya para el día de hoy es la tercera tanda de yogurt que elaboro, del vasito aquel de 150 ml que originalmente usé, o sea, de allí han salido más de tres litros de yogurt, con la misma calidad del principio. Hago este comentario, porque algunas personas me han preguntado si se puede usar ese yogurt artesanal para hacer más, y la respuesta es SÍ. Así que aprovechando este delicioso ingrediente, hice mi bebida, así que, ¡vamos a la receta!
THE RECIPE / LA RECETA
Preparation time: This is a super easy drink to make, so it will be ready in less than 10 minutes.
Quantities may vary according to each person's taste and availability.
Servings: Approximately 700 ml of YOGURT SMOOTHIE WITH GUAVA.
250 ml of drinking water.
250 grams of ripe guava.
250 grams of firm or semi-solid yogurt.
Sweetener of your choice. I used two tablespoons of honey.
Ice to taste.
Glass, mixer, strainer, cup, knife, spoon, plate, etc.
Tiempo de preparación: Esta es una bebida súper fácil de elaborar, por lo que en menos de 10 minutos estará lista.
Las cantidades pueden variar de acuerdo al gusto y a la disponibilidad de cada quien.
Raciones: Aproximadamente 700 ml de BATIDO DE YOGURT CON GUAYABA.
250 ml de agua potable.
250 gramos de guayaba madura.
250 gramos de yogurt firme o semisólido.
Endulzante de tu elección. Yo usé dos cucharadas de miel de abejas.
Hielo al gusto.
Vaso, batidora, colador, taza, cuchillo, cucharilla, plato, etc.
The first thing to do is process the guavas, which are already washed and disinfected, even though I picked them directly from the tree. Cut the guava into small pieces, add water and proceed to grind. Here I am using the immersion blender that I told you about days ago.
Lo primero que hay que hacer es procesar las guayabas, las cuales ya están lavadas y desinfectadas, aun cuando las recogí directamente del árbol. Se cortan en trozos pequeños la guayaba, se le añade agua y se procede a triturar. Aquí estoy usando la batidora de inmersión de la cual les hablé días atrás.
A continuación colar la mezcla, a fin de eliminar las semillas. Seguidamente añadir el yogurt y la miel. Mezclar hasta integrar bien.
Servir en un vaso con cubos de hielo. Puedes añadir más miel, o melaza, canela, etc. Yo añadí más miel, que está deliciosa; y ya el BATIDO DE YOGURT CON GUAYABA, está listo. Es una bebida algo espesa, con un olor muy agradable que se lo da la guayaba. El sabor es muy muy muy bueno, es cremoso y tiene marcado equilibradamente el gusto de la guayaba amarilla, que da notas cítricas a la bebida, generando un contraste de sabores interesante y delicioso. Si gustas puedes adicionar no sólo más endulzantes y/o especias, si no también trozos de fruta, maní troceado, frutos secos, gotas de chocolate, etc. Cheers!
