ভাষা মানুষের মনের ভাব প্রকাশের একটি মাধ্যম এবং পৃথিবীতে ৭০০০ এরও বেশি ভাষা রয়েছে। একজন মানুষের পক্ষে সবগুলো ভাষার জ্ঞান অর্জন অসম্ভব। পৃথিবীর এক এক দেশের মানুষেরা একেক ভাষায় কথা বলে। তাই এক দেশের মানুষের পক্ষে অন্য দেশের মানুষের ভাষা বোঝাটা অসম্ভব হয়ে ওঠে। সবার সুবিধার্থে ইংরেজি ভাষাকে আন্তর্জাতিক ভাষা হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি দেয়া হয়। ইংরেজি ভাষা ব্যবহার করে আমরা মোটামুটি ভাবে পৃথিবীর সব দেশের মানুষের সাথে যোগাযোগ করতে পারি। ঠিক এ কারণে ইংরেজি ভাষা শেখা ও চর্চা করা আমাদের সকলের জন্য ভালো। তারমানে আমাদের ইংরেজি ভাষার উপর দক্ষতা থাকতে হবে এমনটা নয়। বেশিরভাগ মানুষই নিজ দেশে তাদের জীবন অতিবাহিত করে এবং খুব স্বভাবতই ইংরেজি ভাষা শেখার প্রয়োজনীয়তা তাদের দেখা দেয় না এবং ইংরেজি ভাষার চর্চা খুব একটা দেখা যায় না। তাই অধিকাংশ ক্ষেত্রে ইংরেজি ভাষায় দুর্বলতা থেকে যায়।
ENGLISH
Language is a medium of human expression and there are more than 7000 languages in the world. It is impossible for a human being to acquire knowledge of all languages. People of each country of the world speak in different languages. So it becomes impossible for the people of one country to understand the language of other countries people. For the convenience of all, the English language is recognized as the international language. By using the English language we can communicate with people from all countries of the world. This is exactly why learning and practicing the English language is good for us. That doesn't mean we need to have English language skills. Most of people spend their lives in their own country and very naturally the need to learn the English language does not arise for them and the practice of the English language is not very common. So in most cases, the weakness in English remains.
HIVE প্ল্যাটফর্ম একটি বহুমুখী প্ল্যাটফর্ম এবং এ প্লাটফর্মে সকল দেশের মানুষেরা আমন্ত্রিত। সবার সুবিধার্থে HIVE প্ল্যাটফর্ম সব ভাষাকে সমান মর্যাদা দেয় অর্থাৎ এ প্লাটফর্মে একজন ব্যক্তি তার নিজস্ব ভাষায় তার মনের ভাব প্রকাশ করার স্বাধীনতা পায়। তা সত্ত্বেও ইংরেজি সার্বজনীন স্বীকৃত ভাষা হওয়ার কারণে অধিকাংশ ব্যবহারকারী ইংরেজি ভাষায় পোস্ট করতে আগ্রহী এবং এতে আন্তর্জাতিকভাবে সবার সাথে নিজের মতামত ও চিন্তা ভাবনা সরাসরি কোন জটিলতা ছাড়াই শেয়ার করতে পরে। আমি নিজেও এই পদ্ধতি অবলম্বন করি।
HIVE platform is a multi-purpose platform and people from all countries are invited to this platform. For everyone's convenience HIVE platform gives equal status to all languages. On this platform, a person gets the freedom to express his thoughts in his own language. However, since English is a universally recognized language, most users are interested in posting in English and sharing their opinions and thoughts with everyone without any complications. I also follow the method.
কিন্তু সম্প্রতি সময়ে দেখা যাচ্ছে অনেক HIVE ব্যবহারকারী ইংরেজি ভাষায় মনের ভাব প্রকাশ করতে গিয়ে কিংবা পোস্ট লিখতে গিয়ে তার পোষ্টের মূল কথা কিংবা তার মনের ভাব প্রকাশে ব্যর্থ হচ্ছে। এর মূল কারণ হিসেবে ইংরেজি ভাষায় অদক্ষতা এবং চর্চা না থাকার বিষয়টা লক্ষ্য করা যাচ্ছে। লেখকের দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে লেখকের ইংরেজি ভাষায় পোস্ট লিখতে গিয়ে অনেক জটিলতার সম্মুখীন হচ্ছে এবং একইসাথে পাঠকের দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে পাঠক তার পোস্টটি পড়ে কিছুই বুঝতে পারছেন না যা লেখকের প্রতি বিরূপ প্রতিক্রিয়া সৃষ্টি করে যেটা খুবই স্বাভাবিক। পাশাপাশি লেখক যদি পাঠকের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করতে ব্যর্থ হয় কিছু সময় পর উৎসাহ হারিয়ে ফেলে। কিন্তু বিষয়গুলোকে আরও সহজ করা সম্ভব এবং আজকে আমি সেই প্রচেষ্টাই করছি।
But recently it has been seen that many HIVE users are failing to express their thoughts or the main words of their posts while they write posts in the English language. The main reason of it is the inefficiency and lack of practice in the English language. From the writer's point of view the writer is facing a lot of complications while writing the post in the English language and at the same time from the reader's point of view the reader does not understand anything after reading the post which creates a negative reaction towards the writer which is very natural. Also, if the writer fails to capture the reader's attention, he loses enthusiasm after some time. But it is possible to simplify things and that is what I am trying to do today.
একজন HIVE ব্যবহারকারীকে ইংরেজি ভাষা জানতে হবে এমন কোন কথা নেই। পাশাপাশি আমাদের দেশের অধিকাংশ মানুষই ইংরেজি ভাষায় অতটা দক্ষ ও না। তাই ইংরেজি ভাষায় পোস্ট লিখতে চাওয়াটা দোষের কিছু না হলেও অনেকেই মনের ভাব প্রকাশের ব্যর্থ হয়। আর মনের ভাব প্রকাশে ব্যর্থ হলে সেই পোস্ট তার কার্যকারিতা হারায়। পোস্ট এর কার্যকারিতা হারানো আর লেখকের প্রচেষ্টা বৃথা যাওয়া একই জিনিস।
There is no requirement for an HIVE user to know the English language. Besides, most of the people in our country are not so proficient in the English language. There is nothing wrong with wanting to write a post in English, but many people fail to express their feelings. And if anyone fails to express their feelings, the post loses its effectiveness. Loss of post-effectiveness and wasted effort of the author are the same thing.
এর সমাধান হিসেবে প্রথমত আমরা আমাদের নিজের মাতৃভাষায় পোস্ট গুছিয়ে লিখতে পারি এবং তা প্রকাশ করতে পারি। যেহেতু ইংরেজি ভাষায় আমরা বিদেশি পাঠকের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করতে পারি সেহেতু মাতৃভাষায় লিখিত পোস্টটি translator/অনুবাদক ব্যবহার করে ইংরেজি ভাষায় রূপান্তরিত করতে পারি। এটা সত্য যে অনুবাদক ব্যবহার করে শতভাগ নির্ভুল রূপান্তর সম্ভব না হলেও অধিকাংশ রূপান্তর নির্ভুল থাকে যা বিদেশি পাঠকদের নিকট বোধগম্য হয়।
As a solution, firstly we can organize our thoughts in a post in our own mother tongue and publish them. Since we can attract the attention of foreign readers by the English language, we can convert the post written in the mother tongue into the English language using a translator. It is true that it's not 100% accurate but using a translator most of the conversions is accurate enough to make sense to foreign readers.
সেক্ষেত্রে লেখক তার নিজের মাতৃভাষায় লিখিত পোস্টটি প্রথমের দিকে এবং তারপর পরবর্তীতে নিচের অংশে অনুবাদকের সাহায্যে ইংরেজি ভাষায় রূপান্তরিত পোস্টটি প্রকাশ করতে পারে। এই ক্ষেত্রে দুইটা লাভ রয়েছে। প্রথমটি হল এতে স্বদেশী পাঠক সহজে তার পোষ্টটি পড়তে পারে এবং দ্বিতীয়ত বিদেশী পাঠকরা ও অনুবাদকের সাহায্যে রূপান্তরিত ইংরেজি ভাষায় পোস্টটি পড়তে পারে। তাই ইংরেজি ভাষায় পারদর্শী না হলে কিংবা চর্চা না থাকলে এই পদ্ধতি অবলম্বন করাটাই শ্রেয় বলে আমি মনে করি এবং এতে লেখক এবং পাঠক উভয়েরই সুবিধা হয়।
In that case, the author can publish the post written in his native language first and then the post translated into English with the help of a translator at the bottom. This has two benefits. First, the native reader can easily read his post and secondly, foreign readers can read the post in English translation which was done by a translator. So I think it is better to adopt this method if you are not proficient or practiced in the English language and it's beneficial for both the writer and the reader.
কেউ পোস্টে কমেন্ট করলে তার রিপ্লাই দেয়ার আগে কমেন্টে কি বলা হয়েছে তা বুঝার চেষ্টা করা উচিত এবং তার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে কমেন্টের উত্তর দেয়া উচিত। না বুঝে অযথা অযৌক্তিক রিপ্লাই কোন গুরুত্ব বহন করে না। ঠিক একইভাবে অন্য কারো পোস্ট ভালোভাবে না বুঝে কমেন্ট করলে তাও কোন গুরুত্ব বহন করে না। তাই কমেন্ট করার আগে লেখকের লেখার অর্থ ও গুরুত্ব বোঝার চেষ্টা করা উচিত। এটাই আমার পরামর্শ বিশেষ করে যারা সম্প্রতি সময়ে এ প্লাটফর্মে যোগদান করেছেন।
If someone comments on a post, he should try to understand what is said in the comment before replying and then answer to the comment in that context. Unreasonable replies without understanding do not carry any importance. Likewise, commenting without understanding someone else's post does not matter. So before commenting, the writer should try to understand the meaning and importance of the author's writing. This is my advice, especially to those who have recently joined the platform.
এবার ডাউনভোট সম্পর্কে কিছু আলোচনা করা যাক। আপভোট নিয়ে আমরা সকলেই সচেতন। এবং আপভোট থেকে আসা কিউরেশন রিওয়ার্ড এর অনেক হিসাব-নিকাশ আমরা করে থাকি এবং এর উপর ভিত্তি করে আমরা হাইভ পাওয়ার পাই। খুব কম মানুষই ডাউনভোট অপশন টি ব্যবহার করে। এর সর্বপ্রথম কারণ অনেকেই চায়না অন্য কারো বিরুদ্ধে যেতে। দ্বিতীয়ত এটা থেকে সরাসরি ভাবে আমরা কোন রিওয়ার্ড পাইনা যেরকমটা আমরা আপভোট থেকে পেয়ে থাকি। এবং তৃতীয় কারণটা হচ্ছে ভয়। তৃতীয় কারণটা বিশেষ করে তখনই কার্যকর হয় যখন কোন উচ্চ রেপুটেশন ইউজারের বিপক্ষে আমরা এই ফিচারটি ইউজ করতে চাই। কারণ অনেকেই প্রতিশোধ মূলক আচরণের জন্য ডাউনভোট কারীর পোস্ট এ গিয়ে ডাউনভোট করে। এখানে আমি ইচ্ছা পূর্বক কিংবা প্রতিশোধের কারণে কাউকে ডাউনভোট করার জন্য সমর্থন করিনা। একজন ব্যবহারকারীকে তখনই ডাউনভোড মারা উচিত যখন ওই ব্যবহারকরী কোন প্রকার প্রচেষ্টা ব্যতীত অনৈতিক উপায়ে এই প্ল্যাটফর্ম থেকে টাকা চুরির উদ্দেশ্যে আসে। আপনারা হয়তো ভাবছেন ডাউনভোট মেরে তো কোন লাভ নেই তাই শুধু শুধু এইটা ব্যবহার করার কি দরকার? এক্ষেত্রে আমি বলব দরকার আছে। এর কারণ ডাউনভোটকৃত অংশের বৃহৎ অংশ রিওয়ার্ড পুল এ চলে যায় যা অন্যান্য সকল লেখকদের মধ্যে ভাগ করে দিয়ে দেয়া হয়। এক্ষেত্রে শুধু ডাউনভোটপ্রাপ্ত ব্যক্তি ছাড়া বাকি সবাই উপকৃত হয়। তবে হ্যাঁ যাকে তাকে ডাউনভোট দেয়া উচিত নয় কারণ যে এটার প্রাপ্য তাকেই এটা দেয়া উচিত। অযৌক্তিক কারণে ডাউনভোট দেয়া কিংবা প্রতিশোধ পরায়ন হয়ে ডাউনভোট দেয়া নিজের জন্যই অমঙ্গল। আপনার যদি কোন কারনে মনে হয় কোন ব্যবহারকারী অনৈতিক উপায় ব্যবহার করে এই প্লাটফর্মে উপার্জন করছে আপনি এই বিষয়টা Hive watchers এর নিকট রিপোর্ট করে অভিহিত করতে পারেন।
Now let's discuss something about downvoting. We are all aware of upvoting. And we calculate a lot of curation rewards from upvotes and based on that we get Hive Power. Very few people use the downvote option. The first reason is that many people don't want to go against someone else. Secondly, we don't get any rewards directly from it like we get from upvotes. And the third reason is fear. The third reason is especially useful when we want to use this feature against a higher-reputation user. Because many people downvote the downvoter's post for retaliatory behavior. Here I am not advocating to downvote anyone intentionally or out of revenge. A user should give downvotes only when that user comes to steal money from this platform by unethical means without any effort. You might be thinking that there is no point in downvoting, so what is the point of using this? In this case, I would say there is a need. This is because a large portion of the downvoted portion goes into the reward pool which is shared among all other authors. In this case, everyone gets the benefit except the downvoted person. But yes whoever should not be downvoted because it should be given to the one who deserves it. Downvoting for unreasonable facts or downvoting for revenge is inauspicious for oneself. If you feel for any reason that a user is earning on this platform using unethical means, you can report it to Hive Watchers.
