My garden is dazzling with green. It gives me a fresh vibe every single time I went there. Part of my morning routine is to sit and enjoy the green view in the middle of this concrete jungle.
I have shared earlier, I was away from home and stayed with my mom and in-laws for a few days. In this between, some of my plants were dying. I managed to save most of them. But unfortunately, the portulaca plant got some kind of disease and it was not growing or flowering anymore. I was so upset because that was one of my favorite and was the queen of the garden.
Fortunately, I have some spare cutting of the same plant in another small pot. Recently, I fertilize the soil of the portulaca plant and then replanted the cuttings. Now it's growing so well, I'm really happy seeing this plant smiling again.
And a few days ago I planted some local spinach roots. It was nothing difficult, after cooking the leaves, I plant the roots and just in four days, they are leafing.
Also, I planted some pumpkin seeds after cooking the pumpkin. Just in a day there picking some plants, you can see in the above photo. I will share the update later.
Then comes my flower plants.
My Periwinkles are blooming every single day. They are seeding now, I collected some seeds for giving away.
And my Crown of thorns plant is finally blooming. Though the flowers are still small, the red flower looks nice in all the greens.
I do have some spider wave plants, they are also growing pretty well. And my other plants are in a good health.
I know these are nothing much but they mean a lot to me. In this city, my garden is like an escape for me. We can enjoy some fresh air, have a good time sitting there. The flowers and the veggies add great value to my life.
I'm blessed for having my balcony garden.
