The hype going with the rebellion presale is still on and we have less than 15days remaining to the the end of the presale and we still have like 205,000 packs in stock so it is either the buy all the packs or it count down to zero, with the way people had to rush the packs when the presale launch and it still remain 205k packs by now, there is high time it might finish before the countdown. With the goodies and all thing said about the rebellion, users are already securing a spot by buying more packs, I have this huge feeling things will really be amazing when this finally set in.
I will love to talk about one of the ability that really caught my attention and I know will be a badass to the friendly melee monster cards, this ability is the Flank ability. I was skeptical about this ability at first when I saw it but I had to think about it for a while to know how good it might be when place in the proper position and also if it is attach to the right strong monster cards that have the stamina to hold the front position really well, in splinterland, what monster card you use as your frontline really matters because they have to hold the fort really well and withstand some attacks, that is more reason why players do makes sure they support the frontline card with some tank heal ability to make it more stronger.
If the unit with this ability is in the first position, then the unit in the second position gains the Reach ability.
Since the reach ability only work on melee cards, it will be a good idea to use them after using a flank based cards but which ability will you feel like using in this aspect, Firstly I will pick the double strike ability
Currently we have 17 cards with double strike ability and 10 out of this cards are melee monster cards, when using this ability, it is best to use a supporting melee cards with strong attack like 3+ so it can dealt 6 attacks each round and it will even make sense if this double strike cards can have the piercing ability with it incase there is an armour barrier on the target
The trample ability is also a good fit to complement this flank ability, the trample ability have the chance to attack again after destroying a monster cards, most times I do place diemonshark as my frontline before but with this flank ability, it will be an honor to try out this cards in the second position to see how good it will really play out, there is one trample card in the death element also with 6 attack (Undead Rexx) which I rarely make use of in battle even though there it has huge health with it, the moment to dust and use the card will be here soon
There are others ability that might go with it, I'm still having mix feeling if bloodlust ability might fit in especially since they most of them have 1 speed which means they might attack last if not buff with swift ability to increase their speed and also Quora towershead will have the chance to take the second position. We are really waiting to see how this new ability will play out.
