Let me start by thanking Bdcommunity for this amazing Quidditch. I have participated in the first two of the Quidditch and couldn't take part in third one due to some personal engagements(such a shame). But, I am not gonna miss this final one.

Even though I haven't won any of the Quidditch. but still I loved the idea and being a part of it. The Quidditch has been a source of inspiration and motivation for folks like us, who love babbling about their favorite game(splinterland).

So, the Final Quidditch asks us to share our best Splinterlands deals like trades, purchases, burning, renting and transfers.

To be honest, when it comes to spinterlands, I am not that much of a trader. But, I do love to capitalize on good offers, if my pocket allows me. Also if the deal is good, I am not shy of renting some cool monsters.

My Best Deals

Purchase

My best deal was buying maxed Yodin Zaku three months ago. Back then I had all my Steem powered down, and was looking to dump it. Then I thought, what better way to get rid of a shit coin like Steem then buying a maxed legendary summoner with it. So I spent 811.93 Steem(180$) to buy a maxed Zaku

This was my biggest Splinterlands purchase ever and it has proven right for two reasons. First, from a financial point of view, Yodin Zaku was a nice investment. Maxed Zaku still worths around 170$, like other legendary summoners in his class it haven't depreciated too much. Plus considering the battles in higher leagues and all the DEC I have won due to Zaku, I think it was a great and timely deal. Second, a purchase of this magnitude really helped me to sever ties(emotionally) with Steem and move on. Latter, I went on purchasing Mimosa and other legendary monsters with the remaining Steem.

Rental

Renting the cards is a nice way to fill the much needed gaps in your lineup, without breaking your bank. Not everyone can afford to own all costly legendary cards and it takes time plus management to gradually save enough money to buy a hefty card. So, it is better to rent them, till you own them.

There are some monsters and summoners that I consider absolutely necessary and have no substitute. Chain Golem is a tank that has no equal in its class, so I rented it. I have been renting this guy from a very long time, from the same guy. I am paying just 1.11% for Level-3 Chain Golem. Simply speaking it costs just around 0.012$ daily. It is the best rate, I ever got on Peakmonsters for a legendary. 0.012$ daily for a Level-3 CG is not too much, considering its utility.
