I was rummaging in a big box of old stuff I have in my garage the other day, when I found this mysterious looking doll...
(Pretend that I wasn't spray painting it)
Its black eyes and "Bendy looking" smile gave me a feeling of "this is weird."
That's when I remembered that I bought it a long time ago in Ikea, I probably stored it, so it wouldn't frighten the guests!
What I recall is that my cousin came the other day after I had bought it and gave its current Bendy look.
This poor thing deserves better, that's why I gave it a makeover!
How I Did It..
I first spray painted it, I didn't really have the design in mind. I spray painted it white because white is a classic color, meaning it blends with everything..
I later retouched the unpainted areas with a paintbrush..
I was thinking about the design, I absent mindedly applied full blood red paint on the dolls "skirt".
I really didn't like it, so I applied a coat of white on the red paint, but this is when blending happened.
It turned to the loveliest color of pink, so I did it for the whole body..
I also painted floral patterns with a dark like pink over the body when the pink tint dried up..
Made it have brown hair, which didn't turn out dark enough, and painted an autumn styled scarf on the doll's neck, following with a pair of orange gloves..
White paint. Wasted.
From light brown to eye catching black hair..
Memorable and big signature, which reads "Hive Kittycrafter".
Final Result..
Tools Used:
I used acrylic paint and took pictures of the doll using my Samsung A71 phone.
For image editing I used Microsoft Publisher this time.
The white spraycan I used cost me 1.80 USD
