One of the highways that I like to travel is the regional highway of the center, which is one of the most important in my country since it connects Caracas, Maracay and Valencia, 3 important cities in the center of Venezuela. This highway also serves as access to the western states and to the Venezuelan plains.
This route corresponds to a stretch that goes from La Escrucijada de Cagua, a city that is a few kilometers from where I live, to the entrance of the city of Maracay. There are 3 alternative ways to connect both cities, but without a doubt the fastest is through the regional highway of the center since it is usually clear and you can go at high speeds.

At the crossroads there is a toll booth that is usually congested as it is the exit from Cagua to Maracay, La Victoria or Caracas, so you have to be patient, but once you go up the ramp to the highway you can forget about congestion unless there is an accident or police operation.

Once on the highway, you just need to reach the cruising speed that you consider more prudent and drive until you reach your destination, a great blue sky with white clouds rise imposing in the panorama, although this time it seemed possible that heavy rains were coming.

On the road you can see companies, crops and a lot of heavy traffic, which you have to be very careful with since it is a fast road that can cause accidents. As I was driving along the highway I noticed that my truck was rattling, which worried me and was probably due to the poor quality of the gasoline.

So after a few minutes we were entering the city of Maracay, definitely this route is much faster than the other two roads because you have to go through villages and the roads are narrower, so you can not reach high speeds.
It was a pleasure to share with you one more tour of the roads around me, see you soon!
