This is the Barinas section of the Gral. José Antonio Páez highway

José Antonio Páez Highway, one of the longest in Venezuela, has sections in three states, Cojedes, Portuguesa and Barinas. The state of Portuguesa is crossed in its entirety by the aforementioned highway, but the states of Cojedes and Barinas have stretches from their respective capitals to the border with the state of Portuguesa. In a previous video, I showed you what the Venezuelan plains look like in a section that corresponds to the state of Portuguesa, but what I will show you today is the complete section that corresponds to the state of Barinas.

The route I recorded starts at the Boconoíto toll, which corresponds to the state of Portuguesa, but after a few minutes we were already in the state of Barinas, there is no official announcement, but with the map I could determine at what point we had crossed the border between the two states. A few seconds after passing through the toll, you can see images of the town of Boconoíto.

So before we knew it we were already in the state of Barinas, and well, the panorama does not change at all, the Venezuelan plains are very similar and here we can see proof of this.

Below, you will see images of the entrance to the town of Barrancas, the La Yuca river and of a gas station in which a strong flare is noticeable with which I estimate they are burning excess in their deposits. The above mentioned places would be the most striking of the stretch of the highway in what corresponds to the state of Barinas, the rest is only road.
