The only thing kids love more than watching TV, are the toys from those same TV shows they've watched. Even in this current day and age, it doesn't seem like kids of today have any less love of toys than back then.
Personally, I don't quite remember owning any WWE/WWF toys at all. Hulk Hogan was  as much a household name as He-man, but whilst I had plenty of plenty of action figures, it seemed that wrestlers weren't part of my collection. I could rattle on an entire long list of toys from the different cartoons I've watched and nope - zero wrestlers. 🤣Â
I don't quite know the reason for this too. I did some research and the first foray into the toy market for WWE/WWF was LJN WWF Wrestling Superstars in the 80s. By all accounts, they were a huge hit too. This was followed by Hasbro WWF Wrestling Figures in the 90s.Â
I could perhaps understand not having any LGN toys, since these seem a bit before my time, but Hasbro? Just about every popular action figure was made and marketed by them back in the day! 😱
Well, I still do have quite a few of my childhood toys with me. They're a little battered and some are a little worse for wear, but they sure do bring back fond memories. Do YOU own any of these elusive (to me) wrestling toys from the 80s/90s?Â
