This is my "Wrestler Review of the Day"! Today's wrestler(s) are The "Alligator Wrestling" Hinterland Hunters!
These pair of Aussies must be a little mad to actually wrestle alligators! I've got a soft spot for their antics though, seeing as I wrote a backstory about them before for the #WOO - #SCHOLARANDSCRIBE contest way back in the day. 😁
Just to preface every single review, I won't be able to comment on whether this card is overpowered or such, and how it fits into the meta. I'm just comparing the raw stats of each card and their rarity. I also won't comment on the moves of each wrestler as I'm completely unaware of how strong the different moves are. This is just my assessment based off the numbers on each wrestler. 😁
The Hinterland Hunters
With a Casting Cost of 7, The Hinterland Hunters have about the same costs as those of other Tag Team Wrestlers that I've reviewed so far. It is still on the higher end though (as compared to all the wrestlers overall). However, as Tag Team wrestlers, that cost seems to be the norm.
Their Speed of 2 means they are pretty slow. It looks like speed isn't a requirement to wrestle crocs. 🤣 (fastest possible is 7 at the moment)
Their Damage of 2 is pretty decent. They will pack quite a punch if they land a hit on you. (with the range from 1-3 dmg currently)
Their Health is also very impressive being at the upper end with 10 HP. (min 5, max 12)
Just looking at the raw stats, The Hinterland Hunters slow moving but hard hitting tanks. Their damage and HP certainly seems to portray them as such. It'll be interesting to see if their movesets actually do anything else to change them. 🤔
As a COMMON wrestler, they have the maximum possible level of 3. This means they will suffer quite a disadvantage against other higher rarity wrestlers during high level matchups.
