Thanks to one of @poshtoken's awesome new campaigns to promote Hive to wider audiences, I landed myself another land pack.

This 6 ⭐ land is among one of the more common pulls you'll find inside the WOOPARTSUN packs. The last land I won was a 3-3-1, which I consider to be slightly better, but this one certainly isn't terrible. Why?
👪 Three star population
This city in the WOOniverse holds, at baseline, one million citizens. Upgrades to the city can boost population %. A two-star population city has 10x fewer people (100,000).
So: any upgrades to population by % will be 10x more effective on this city. Larger potential crowds will attract bigger shows (which will be run by players of the game)—so long as you have built the venues to the support them.
The one unfortunate part about this pull is the 1-star fanbase. This means only 0.25% of the population (2,500) are wrestling fans. But paired with a 3-star population, the raw amount of 2,500 is better than 3-star fans on 2-star population (1.0% * 100,000 = 1,000).
So if I focus on upgrades that tweak the RNG so that fans arrive first or roll better on the show attendance composition (i.e. what % of each show is people vs fans), then I can potentially outperform land with the same or even more stars.
💰 Two star Wealth
This stat sets the arbitrary wealth base at 100.
Wealth is the "money pool" that fans and people will tap to spend at shows, which in turn will be used to calculate the total $WOO payout to the show's winner, loser (?), and land owner. Mo money = mo WOO, and fans spend astronomically more at shows than people.
Obviously I would have liked 3-star wealth as that builds in a 10x multiple to my base. But with this baseline fan count I can rest assured that this piece of land will create some lucrative shows nonetheless.
We will have to see just how drastic the 10x wealth tiers impact things when the game is live. If the balance is out of whack, the WOO Team will definitely tweak it, so I'm not concerned in general.
