Land 2-2-2: The exactly average city

🤼 Overview, odds & stats
The 6-star that sits right at the middle of the stat range. Tempting to balance it, for thematics' sake! Your odds of pulling any 6-star are 35% or about 1 in 3. There are seven 6-star combos, so this exact NFT's odds are roughly 1 in 21.
Pop | Fans | People | Wealth | Wealth per† | Avg base demand‡ |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
100,000 | 500 | 99,500 | 100 | 0.001 | 1,270 |
† Wealth per city citizen = (Fans + People) / Wealth
‡ Avg base demand = (People * 0.01) + (Fans * 0.55)
Figures derived from information posted in WOO Land: Complete Utility Guide. These may change once the game is live for balancing or other reasons. DYOR!
🤔 Interpretation
So you've one upgrade in every stat. Compared to the 1-1-1, it's something like 200x more powerful (2x boost to Fans, 10x to Wealth, 10x to population). This balance of goodies means difficult interesting decisions ahead.
The average 2-2-2 may be best used to further your own meta. So if you've been hammering on freelance wrestling farming, then this NFT can be configured to help that. Same goes for virtually every other strategy. The beauty of such a versatile piece of land! (In many ways, the prized 3-3-3 acts the same way, but like, way sexier.)
If this is your only land or one of few, then we're truly at a choose-your-own-adventure crossroads.
🕹️ Strategies
1️⃣ Balanced utility. Add a little bit of everything, because it's all decent. Given that I'm a big believer in Wealth, I might tilt it that way a smidge... but that's just me. The meta's math has yet to be fully unveiled.
2️⃣ Fans. Fans are always good, and a base of 500 is decent. Get them to shows more often and get them spending more with Fan based upgrades.
3️⃣ Wealth. There's enough Population and Fans here that you could just go for pumping up Wealth. In theory, this will net the best passive income—but it may be best paired with a few Fan upgrades to truly max/min the output.
4️⃣ Population. Generally my least favourite to consider. Raising population does mean bigger shows, but at the cost of introducing more damn People to the mix (they block Fans from getting to shows and People spend hardly anything). However, the game may deliver certain perks, multipliers, achievements, bonuses, etc. for the sheer number of people that attend shows... so don't count this upgrade path out.
5️⃣ Trading. Floor at time of writing is $27.50. The 6-star lands are the most common, so supply floods will probably drive that price down over time. Flipping to be able to get another land pack could work... but the odds of ending up with fewer stars is pretty decent. I'd maybe look at p2p trade options for star configurations that best suit your playstyle.
🏝️ Land characterization
The standard city—not too big, not too small. Not crazy rich, not full of slums. There's the average amount of wrestling fans for the region. It's only remarkable in how truly unremarkable it is. That's where you come in. Most cities and towns are more or less like this, if statistics are to be believed. So, your job is to raise the bar.

WOO skews a normal distribution to make high-stat land harder to pull (makes sense, right?) The most common pull is a 6-star land, with 7 different ways the stars could be configured.
