Land 2-1-3: The emerging urban market

🤼 Overview, odds & stats
A 6-star that delivers you lots of Fans but little Wealth. A clear chance to leverage your market. Your odds of pulling any 6-star are 35% or about 1 in 3. There are seven 6-star combos, so this exact NFT's odds are roughly 1 in 21.
Pop | Fans | People | Wealth | Wealth per† | Avg base demand‡ |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1,000,000 | 5,000 | 995,000 | 10 | 0.00001 | 12,700 |
† Wealth per city citizen = (Fans + People) / Wealth
‡ Avg base demand = (People * 0.01) + (Fans * 0.55)

🤔 Interpretation
A base of 5,000 Fans is almost as good as you can get (10,000 being the max). There's also a staggering amount of People in this city. Unfortunately, a million citizens all have the same pot of 10 measly Wealth to share.
It's a quantity over quality situation here, I think. The opening meta of WOO does seem to point to catering to getting Fans to shows (which, you know, makes complete sense thematically), so for this NFT I'd lean heavier on that and not fret too much about trying to boost Wealth.
As always though, the math might math differently once the game is live, and a teeny boost to Wealth could offset any Fans upgrading... but instinct says to play to a card's strengths—and your Fan base is robust.
🕹️ Strategies
1️⃣ Fan Quality boosts. These would be upgrades that increase how much they spend (meh, with low Wealth) if they come to shows more often, and if they get there before People. "Better" Fans, if you will. This approach might be just as good as...
2️⃣ Fan Quantity boosts. More Fans! Boosting Fan % of Pop or just straight up Population works to give you more RNG "rolls" on show composition. More Fans means more chances that they'll come to shows and outspend People (by a base factor of 5x!). Upping Population also creates more People to possibly block seats from Fans, while Fan % of Pop does not, so the latter feels more attractive but expect some mind bending tradeoffs when you're actually in the game, haha.
3️⃣ Trading. Today's floor was $40. I think that may be a little pricey for a 6-star, whose supply has the strongest odds of increasing relative to other NFT types. If I were flipping for that price, I'd like the odds of getting ~2 more packs to try for a better 6-star or higher... but it's a gamble.
4️⃣ Farming freelance wrestlers. I'm not sure if you'd want to spend your 6-star on this, but hey, if collecting NFTs is your jam then any NFT with 2 or 3 Fan stars is a candidate for attracting freelancers.
🏝️ Land characterization
Similar to the seedy urban mess of the 1-1-3, this city's slums have at least started to gravitate towards territory wrestling glory. Amid the grimy tenements and ugly high rises are basement venues packed to the brim with late night matches. Scalpers for show tickets share corners with the pushers. And the fat cats in on city council probably get a cut too. This life isn't always glamorous, and sometimes the organizers only pay you in beer—but it's a path many of us must take to reach the top.

WOO skews a normal distribution to make high-stat land harder to pull (makes sense, right?) The most common pull is a 6-star land, with 7 different ways the stars could be configured.
