Land 3-1-2: The Overlooked Areas

🤼 Overview, odds & stats
A Fan saturated 6-star suffering from a stagnant economy. Definitely a prime freelance farm opportunity. Your odds of pulling any 6-star are 35% or about 1 in 3. There are seven 6-star combos, so this exact NFT's odds are roughly 1 in 21.
Pop | Fans | People | Wealth | Wealth per† | Avg base demand‡ |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
100,000 | 1,000 | 99,000 | 100 | 0.0001 | 1,540 |
† Wealth per city citizen = (Fans + People) / Wealth
‡ Avg base demand = (People * 0.01) + (Fans * 0.55)

🤔 Interpretation
A base of 1,000 Fans is a good thing. The challenge is that everyone's living paycheck to paycheck. 10 whole Wealth split between 100,000 citizens. Not ideal, but you can certainly make use of your advantages.
The first thing I think of is freelance wrestling farming. With a sizeable baseline demand for shows, it should be easier to attract organizations here compared to low Population NFTs. Meaning that you hopefully get to roll more often on obtaining a freelancer. And with that army of Fans, your show rewards will get a little bump too.
Upgrade-wise, a Training center would likely be smart, and if there's a cost efficient way to boost up Wealth I'd investigate that. It could work better to just work on Fan quality though, so stay diligent of all the math.
🕹️ Strategies
1️⃣ Farm dem freelancers. When Wealth is low but Fans are high... I think that is a signal to abandon "balance" and lean into the stuff that '3-star Fans' is good at—and that's the freelancers. Ensure you've a good Scout stat on your Org and prioritize the Training Center on the NFT.
2️⃣ Fan service. The baseline of 1,000 Fans is quite nice. You might be able to make up for the crummy Wealth by investing some upgrades into Fan quality (% that go to shows, how much they spend). But beware: low Wealth does limit your upgrade choices.
3️⃣ Trading. The floor at time of writing is $49. Given this NFT's middling stats and eventual supply boom (6-stars are the most common pulls), I do expect this to come down. Not sure if I'd risk a "re-roll" here but if you can actually get the price of 2+ packs for this NFT, then two rolls sounds attractive.
🏝️ Land characterization
Here we have yet another struggling town, well past its prime and looking for ways to either reinvent itself or quietly die. Something that stands out, however, is the vibrant wrestling community. Backyard rings are not an all too uncommon sight (about as rare as a pool, probably). Gyms, rec centers, community centers—they all host monthly amateur wrestling events. Wrestling talk peppers every tavern and run-down pub. You may not ever host an international event here... but you sure could find some serious homegrown talent.

WOO skews a normal distribution to make high-stat land harder to pull (makes sense, right?) The most common pull is a 6-star land, with 7 different ways the stars could be configured.
