Land 2-3-1: The Eccentric Getaway

🤼 Overview, odds & stats
A rich 6-star that suffers from a Population problem. This is an oddball, but you can make it work. Your odds of pulling any 6-star are 35% or about 1 in 3. There are seven 6-star combos, so this exact NFT's odds are roughly 1 in 21.
Pop | Fans | People | Wealth | Wealth per† | Avg base demand‡ |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
10,000 | 50 | 9,950 | 1,000 | 0.1 | 127 |
† Wealth per city citizen = (Fans + People) / Wealth
‡ Avg base demand = (People * 0.01) + (Fans * 0.55)

🤔 Interpretation
The 3-star Wealth is a saving grace, as your total Fan base is a paltry 50. The good news is that it should be pretty easy to get them to shows (not a lot of People to block their seats). But then again, your shows aren't gonna be very big to start with.
Still, the average expected spend per show is among the most competitive: 2 NFTs tie this one, and only 3 surpass it. That's if you can attract shows. So: upgrades on Population may not be the worst idea here, if only to capture a bigger chunk of the "long tail" of accounts (e.g. players that can only fill small shows, and therefore will be more likely to choose your land to visit).
Upgrades to Fans or Wealth are also tempting, as they'll pump up that expected spend even more. The big question mark for me right now is how exactly other players will be presented with the "where do I take my wrestlers?" information—and if there will be incentives to avoid over or under-selling shows. Hard to say!
🕹️ Strategies
1️⃣ Attract shows! Echoing the above: you've a solid expected spend base with 2-star Fan and 3-star Wealth (surpassed only by 3-3-x). Challenge will be to make sure shows happen on your land in order to collect that sweet sweet passive income. Exactly how this will work in game is still a bit of an unknown. Bigger Population seems like low hanging fruit, but keep your eyes peeled for mechanics that reveal other pathways.
2️⃣ Freelance wrestlers. This isn't the worst plot of land to try and farm the freelancers. If you've got enough shows coming in, there's likely room for at least a little bit of Training Center upgrades. Don't blow it all on Population—first math out just how much Population impacts show-attraction per #1.
3️⃣ Trading. Floor at time of writing is $35. If this NFT is too wacky to try and futz with, maybe you want to try your hand at flipping to a higher star rating! Or just take the HBD and run? Hard to say! I do expect prices to change drastically when the game releases and supply increases.
🏝️ Land characterization
I picture this as weird little resort community where wealthy people go to do hedonistic things. It's out in the boonies, you need to know someone who knows someone to get an "in," and they charter all manner of entertainment gigs. Music, art, film, tech, even wrestling! It may be well off the beaten track, but if folks are throwing money around then it may well be a decent way to boost your revenue!

WOO skews a normal distribution to make high-stat land harder to pull (makes sense, right?) The most common pull is a 6-star land, with 7 different ways the stars could be configured.
