Land 1-2-1: The cozy cottage county

🤼 Overview, odds & stats
Of all the 4-stars, this may be my favourite. A 10x boost to Wealth just feels better to me. Your odds of pulling any 4-star are 15% or about 1 in 7. There are three 4-star combos, so this exact NFT's odds are roughly 1 in 21.
Pop | Fans | People | Wealth | Wealth per† | Avg base demand‡ |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
10,000 | 25 | 9,975 | 100 | 0.01 | 113.5 |
† Wealth per city citizen = (Fans + People) / Wealth
‡ Avg base demand = (People * 0.01) + (Fans * 0.55)

🤔 Interpretation
The standout stat here is the 2-star Wealth. This is a 10x boost over a 1-star. And, since the population is low, it results in a rather healthy 'Wealth per Citizen' stat. 0.01
per person is actually the second highest base for this metric.
So your job with this one is to make sure those 25 Fans get to every damn show. And, because higher Wealth means more building/upgrade options, you have more leeway in achieving that.
It will be interesting to see just how wide the range is on Wealth's building restrictions. How much more choice will you get? I'll see if I can tease that out of the team. Point being, you may be able to afford to boost Fan % of Pop, Fan Wealth spend, etc. etc. without having to sacrifice on other goals.
I probably wouldn't use an upgrade slot on boosting Population (because of the low base multiplier), but the min/max mentality should be applied come game time. It will pay to pay attention to how upgrade math works (is +5% a multiplier or a percentage point addition, for example), and how it compounds.
🕹️ Strategies
1️⃣ Focus on nurturing Fans. Per the above, Fans are fairly Wealthy. There aren't many of them, so either growing that number or increasing how much they spend will be the ticket. Show sizes will still be small, generally, so the "Fans getting to shows first" metric may not be as important.
2️⃣ Wealth boosting. When the base is 10x better, so too are the related upgrades (in theory, assuming most are multiplicative). It may be a better spend of WOO to keep pushing Wealth up instead of focusing on Fans. The complete approach would test out striking a balance between these two—it's often more economically efficient to balance things.
3️⃣ Sell it. This is still a 4-star. Odds are you can roll better on a new pack. Recouping costs or just cutting losses is always a viable approach! Floor at time of writing is $13 and packs cost $20 (or $15 if you use the WOO discount—Expiring May 31!)
🏝️ Land characterization
I see this one as a remote cottage county. Not necessarily a fancy-pants "lakehouse" vibe (that's the 1-3-1), but more like lots of lakes, dirt roads, cabins, small homes, successful fishing and hunting businesses, etc. These are the sticks, but the land is bountiful and the folks here live a quiet and comfortable life.

WOO skews a normal distribution to make high-stat land harder to pull (makes sense, right?) The most common pull is a 6-star land, with 7 different ways the stars could be configured.
