Hi there everyone on Hive and fellow Play-to-earn, P2E game enthusiasts.
It's no doubt that nowadays P2E games are rising faster than regular games online and it's certainly for very good reasons.
On this very platform Hive, there are quite a number of good P2E games such as my personal favorite Wrestling Organization Online, WOO and other popular ones like Splinterlands, Rising Star and Terracore.
P2E games bring more than just the regular fun that non P2E games bring to the table.

If you've been following a lot of my gaming blogs, you would probably know the answer to the question, What's my favorite non P2E game?
It's GTA by Rockstar game developers. I'v played GTA for almost half a decade and the interesting thing is that WOO has provided more value in my life even in its Beta Version in a month than GTA has done for over five years.
This is one major advantage I believe sets P2E games apart from regular or traditional games.
Indeed P2E games are empowering its players and I considered it very necessary to create a dedicated blog to share my thoughts on how P2E games do that.
The gaming world has seen a major overhaul and it's all thanks to play-to-earn games, those connected to Hive and those outside of Hive.
P2E games as you may already know aren't your average games played just for fun. They're literally reshaping how players experience the gaming world.
The main thing as I mentioned earlier on which makes these games stand out is that they give players a chance to turn their in-game wins and achievements into real money.
This I believe is the true future of gaming. Some people are very focused on the future of gaming being influenced by Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and even perhaps the whole Metaverse.
But I believe the true future of games is P2E. The reason why I make this claim is because as more games get released with high graphics and improved gameplay, it would eventually become common to get a game with great game play experience.
The quality of your game design as a developer would not be as special or as important as it is today because in the future there would be a lot of quality games like yours out there.
Players would eventually start to ask themselves what is the extra value your game provides for them?
This is what will make P2E games dominate the scene. My prediction is that giant game companies like Rockstar and Electronic Arts may start to consider transforming their games into P2E.
So very soon, you would probably be able to earn rewards or crypto from playing games like GTA, NFS and COD(Call of Duty).
The thing is that in normal games, your victories only matter within the game itself. But in play-to-earn games, you can swap your game assets or the points you win in the game for actual cash which allows you to make some serious money while having a good time playing the game and enjoying yourself.
Wouldn't it be a dream job if the money you could make from playing P2E games in the future would be enough to handle your Bills? - Some of us gamers will turn into full timersπ
The best part about P2E games especially those bulit on a Blockchain like Hive is that they provide more value than just cash or rewards to their players.
These P2E games give players a cool level of control and ownership over what they win. Using advanced technology as blockchain, players really own the assets they get in the game. They can sell, trade, or even use these assets outside the game.
For instance if you play a game like WOO which is a wrestling game where you can become your own wrestling manager, get some awesome Wrestlers NFT squad and fight other players to win WOO tokens and other in-game assets.
These tokens and assets you earn are under your control and ownership. At any given time you can decide to exchange the tokens or assets for real cash based on their value in the market.
Aside from the money and very cool items, these games are like training grounds for various skills.
Players can sharpen their planning and trading skills, and everyone in the game would notice when they get really good. There are leaderboards and communities built around these games where you can interact with fellow enthusiasts.
So it's not just about clocking in hours of game play but also about becoming seriously skilled at what you're doing. The more skilled you become, the more your chances of winning and earning cash.
What's really awesome about these games is that they're open to everyone. They donβt care where you're from or how much money you've got. This one is mostly thanks to Blockchain technology which brings the advantage of accessibility.
You see, there are games out there that make themselves exclusive to certain regions or parts of the world. I tried signing up for a lot of good games online that promise good rewards only to face the disappoinment of my country or region not being eligible for earning or even signing up.
This is a different case with Blockchain based P2E games like those on Hive.
If you're good at it and want to give it a shot, these games give you a chance no matter who you are and where you're from.
Now, even more exciting, these games can help not just individuals but whole communities. They offer a new path for people who might not have regular bank access to earn. And inside these games, players team up, learn from each other, and help each other grow.
One thing P2E games are good at doing is establishing strong online communities where you can communicate or create special bonds with other players that like the game you also like.
To draw the curtains on today's blog, play-to-earn games aren't just about fun. They're mainly about giving players power as they also earn rewards from enjoying the gameplay.
They blend making money, getting better at playing games, owning cool assets, and letting everyone be a part of it.
Indeed P2E games have changed and will continue to change the way we see games now and in the future.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read today's blog. I hope you found it both entertaining and informative. If you have any question regarding the blog topic, please feel free to share them and I'll be more than happy to respond.
