Greetings to my favorite gaming community, Wrestling Organization Online.
It's @skyehi and even though I'm pretty tired I just remembered I haven't shared one of my epic wrestling lists yet.

As I said in one of my previous posts about wrestling, winning a title is the ultimate goal for any Wrestler that seeks to make history. The title holders are usually seen as the icons of the wrestling company and it comes with its own prestige and perks like extra cash.
A special locker room is prepared just for the champion while the other superstars have to share locker rooms.
Every wrestler in a wrestling promotion strives to become the main champion. However one thing I can tell you for a fact is that, winning the championship belt is way easier than having to keep it for a long time.
I made in one of my previous posts, a list of the longest reigning champions in wrestling history. I'm excited to know that my current favorite wrestler, Roman Reigns is amongst the list, having crossed over a thousands days reign as champion and face of WWE.
However, there are also Wrestlers that had the shortest reign ever. Some of these Wrestlers held their belts for just few minutes and lost it.
One of the shortest championship reigns could be as a result of the wrestler winning the belt and immediately another wrestler who is a holder of "The Money In The Bank Briefcase" cashes in on the wrestler and wins the belt.
If you're unfamiliar with "Money In The Bank Cash In" you can definitely watch some of those events online. It's almost like sudden death in wrestling 😂
Some of these wild and short championship reign moments caught the fans and audience by surprise and have become unforgettable moments in wrestling.
I took the liberty and pleasure of putting together 10 of the shortest championship reigns in wrestling history. I hope you'll enjoy it guys.
10. Andre the Giant - WWF World Heavyweight Championship (48 seconds)
Andre the Giant's title reign against Hulk Hogan lasted less than a minute in the WrestleMania Matche. It was really controversial but that actually happened and it made history.
9. Ric Flair - WWF World Heavyweight Championship (1 day)
Ric Flair took down Randy Savage, only to lose the title the very next night. Ric is a legend and although it seems ironic, I feel that was a legendary loss too.
8. Kevin Nash - WWF World Heavyweight Championship (1 day)
In a shocking main event match, Nash won over Bill Goldberg but lost the title the next night against Nitro.
7. Batista - World Heavyweight Championship (2 days)
Batista's victory over Rey Mysterio at Survivor Series was nothing short of glorious but Rey Mysterio snatched it back in a snap on SmackDown.
6. Kane - WWF Hardcore Championship (1 day)
The big Red Machine Kane's won the WWF Hardcore Championship belt and lost it the very next night.
5. Bret Hart - WWE United States Championship (1 day)
Bret Hart's reign ended just like that, losing the United States title to Lex Luger the very next day. It was a quick and sudden reign I guess.
4. Seth Rollins - WWE World Heavyweight Championship (1 minute, 5 seconds)
Rollins stole the WWE World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania, but Dean Ambrose scooped it right back from him in a matter of moments. That had to really hurt.
3. Chyna - WWF Intercontinental Championship (1 minute, 57 seconds)
Chyna who was a woman wrestler who actually managed to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship meant for the men. It was a testament of her strength and uniqueness as a woman wrestler.
Her surprise win turned into shock as Chris Jericho dethroned her in a really historic moment.
2. Vince McMahon - ECW World Championship (2 days)
Vince McMahon won the ECW World Championship belt but gave it up in 2 days. That was a short-lived reign but I believe it was a business decision. Besides, Vince is the Chairman not a full time wrestler.
1. Stan Stasiak - WWWF World Heavyweight Championship (9 days)
Stasiak's reign as WWWF World Heavyweight Champion lasted less done ten days and even though it seems to be the longest in this list, it's definitely shortlived or should I say a legendary record reign in the wrong sense.
Alright guys, that's all for today's list.
The good news for you is that some of these short Reigns or the matches that led to the loss of the championship belts were recorded and you can definitely watch some of the videos on YouTube.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read today's blog. I hope you enjoyed today's list. For this blog's comment challenge;
Which short-lived championship reign was your favorite?
Well my favorite wasn't really added to the list and I wanted to save it for the last part of my blog to answer the comment challenge.
My favorite was Finn Balor's reign as Universal Champion. He was the first ever Universal Champion and he won the belt by beating Seth Rollins. However during the match, he had a serious injury and was forced by that injury to relinquish the belt right after winning it.
He went out of action for months after. It was an inspirational moment for me while watching it because I learned that even through pain you need to keep fighting just like how Finn won his belt with a broken arm.
Thanks once again for the time guys. Have a lovely day and catch you next time on Wrestling Organization Online. Bye guys. ❤️
