I have been with Hive for many, many years, since steem's time. Almost from the beginning.
I wrote only in English, the Hispanic population was very small. Already at that time I was looking for people from Argentina, but without success.
Years later, as a hive, I started to identify more compatriots, so I created the Hive Argentina Twitter account.
The day before, I remember going to bed excited at the prospect of the meeting. So many years in Hive and finally I was going to put a face to all those nicks and all those names.
I had met many of them on Hive, some I had not had the pleasure and others I knew from somewhere else and I had the privilege of having invited them to be part of our community.
Estoy hace muchísimos años en Hive, ya desde la época de steem. Casi desde sus inicios. Escribía solo en inglés, la población hispana era ínfima. Ya en ese momento buscaba gente de Argentina, pero sin éxito.
Años después, ya siendo hive, empeze a identificar más compatriotas, así que me cree la cuenta de Twitter de Hive Argentina.
El día anterior recuerdo ya haberme acostado exaltado ante la perspectiva del encuentro. Tantos años en Hive y finalmente iba a ponerle un rostro a todos esos nicks y todos esos nombres.
A muchos los había cruzado alguna vez en Hive, a algunos no había tenido el placer y a otros los conocía por otro lado y tuve el privilegio de haberlos invitado a formar parte de nuestra comunidad.
I woke up excited and that's when I looked in the mirror. The confinement was taking its toll and my hair and beard had been groomed after such a long time. It was the first time I had cut my own hair and I was satisfied with the outcome.
The day was radiant! The cold wind and the warmth of the sun merged on the skin creating a very pleasant feeling. So I went to take the train to Retiro to meet the group.
I arrived very late and missed the first photo, an unforgivable crime, I am usually a very punctual person.
From the women's bridge in Puerto Madero we moved to a nice Starbucks near where we were.

Llegué muy sobre la hora y me perdí la primera foto, un crimen imperdonable, suelo ser una persona muy puntual.

The afternoon was very productive organizationally and I look forward to the Meetup! I am now in the process of following everyone to get to know them better!
I confess that I was so focused on what we were talking about that the time flew by and we still need to get to know each other better.
But there will be no lack of communities, luckily we have Hive where we spend several hours of our day.
La tarde fue muy productiva a nivel organizativo y espero con ansias el Meetup! Ahora estoy en proceso de seguirlos a todos para concerlos mejor! Confieso que estaba tan concentrado en lo que se hablaba que el tiempo pasó volando y falta conocernos mas. Pero no van a faltar comunidades, por suerte tenemos Hive donde pasamos varias horas de nuestro día.
