Organization
The Hive Barquisimeto team was invited to the Lara Fest as a result of the participation in April in the Expo TecnoDigital. This event opened many doors with different institutions and personalities. It also left a lot of learning in the organization of events of such magnitude, and a beautiful stand, with all its accessories.
To carry out this event we covered the following list, and a couple of extra things that maybe we will have systematized for the next event, always improving the protocols.

The event starts for the organizers long before, and continues long after the execution of the event.
The Team
Previously we have talked about the "organizing team" and who compose it, @filoriologo, @zullyscott, @joheredia21, @tsunsica and @yonnathang. The role of the team is to make the necessary contacts, plan the logistics, the papers, all the background of the event, and during the event, to be attentive to all the details, unforeseen events, that the rest of the team is well and fulfilling their own tasks. It is a lot, but it is only a part of the work that is done during an event.
@fermionico accompanied us in this beautiful photograph, the collaborations between different projects and communities in the country make the message we transmit much stronger. That's why Barquisimeto always has open doors for other communities.
The Hive Barquisimeto team is much larger than just the organizers. Those who accompany us at the stand, during the event, also do a great job to keep everything in order, set up the set, and serve the public. It is not an easy task, because to do this, you have to be well informed about Hive and how to answer questions, even how to answer if you don't know the answer. The team members who joined us this time: @neruel, @omarqm, @francysfiore, @eliigonzalez, @wbrandt, @anderhz and @saravm82.
Of course, the group extends much further with guests, family, and friends. Many other community members present and supporting: @jessiencasa, @jes.seth, @jesusalejos, @caribayarte, @mundomanaure, our mini-hiver Camila, and many more.
Presentations
On that occasion, the presentations were not open to the general public, but only to businessmen and entrepreneurs. We are proud that, as @fermionico pointed out to us, our presentation was the most attended, taking into account that the people there had to decide to leave their stands for a while to attend a presentation they were interested in. Among the audience was the company Canguro, which we will talk about later.
The intervention of our guest @fermionico, was a comprehensive explanation of what Hive is and what can be found in the blockchain. Everything that someone who is interested in progressing and joining web3 has to hear to decide to start. Hive's birth story, our economics, the Dapps ecosystem, growth opportunities, how to join and more.
Then it was @tsunsica's turn to explain how incentives can be created for communities with Tokens in Hive. How these can be used to encourage customer interaction for companies and entrepreneurs both in-store and on social media, and ideas on how to raise funds for a project in a community way.
After these presentations came the round of questions, and from this interaction the meeting with the company Canguro was arranged.
Contacts made
During the event we talked to many companies, with some we got further than with others, although all the people showed interest, the success of the contact depends largely on who we are talking to: promoter, employee, community manager, manager, etc. The closer to the decision-making power, the more effective the encounters can be.
Such was the case in our conversation with the well-known company that sells telephone and audio equipment and accessories, as well as technical service providers and educators in the area: Canguro. . Team members approached the booth, chatted with vendors and managers, inviting them to attend @fermionico's and @tsunsica's keynotes.
In addition to that, @fermionico talked with them in more detail, raising what might be common interests, in this case, web3 education. Canguro showed interest in an agreement where we offer training to their staff and they cede their spaces so that people outside Canguro can attend these workshops. Finally they attended the presentations and with the information provided there, the conviction was total.
A future meeting was agreed upon and held yesterday. We spoke with the business coordinators of the CanguroPro branch of the company, which is in charge of the workshops in their classrooms and presentations at different events. In this meeting we finalized the educational agreement, where we will train their staff in what they should know about Hive and how to use the tools at their disposal, and they will allow us the use of the spaces for the training of new Hivers and also to educate those already in Hive but who require support in the use of specific tools.
In addition to this there are other agreements on the table, however we only mention this one, which is already a big step, because the next steps will be announced as there is confirmation and start dates. So stay tuned for further announcements, and for the start of the first Web3 and Hive workshop in the CanguroPro classrooms.
In addition to this partnership with Canguro, the first meeting was scheduled with Yacambú University, a prestigious private university in the State of Lara, which already has an infrastructure for online training. The meeting will take place next week, so the results will be announced at a later date.
In the same way, many conversations were arranged with entrepreneurs. This success is due to the fact that they already remember us from the previous big event, Expo TecnoDigital, and seeing us also here, and knowing what we have achieved with the universities UCLA and UNESR, and the Chamber of Commerce of Barquisimeto, they feel more confident to talk about Hive and consider joining.

During the two-day event, 9 tweets were made that had a reach of 2984 accounts, that's without taking into account the mentions that were re-tweeted.

This took into account the publications and reels uploaded during the two days of the event and a couple of days prior to Lara Fest. 9 publications that resulted in a reach of 3679 accounts.
As for the mentions, we took into account only those users with at least 1K followers, both the days prior to the event and during its execution, we had dozens of mentions of which we only took 32 that were made between 12 profiles with a possible reach of 76.8 K accounts.

In addition to the reach achieved in our networks, we had participation in other media, such as Radio Visión and Versión de Fama89.1, who were advertising our participation for four days, and conducting a raffle of tickets sponsored by Hive.
During the event we were interviewed by the television station Telecentro; we received the visit and diffusion in networks of the local Influencer @mariamarinamm on Instagram, who also created her account during the event and is learning to use the Liketu platform to make her presentation.
We were also visited at the booth by the group @cuatrolarense, friends from the Barquisimeto events, sports and entertainment portal @naguarapuntocom, and friends from Street Workout Community.
This event has brought us to a very diverse audience interested in the opportunities that Hive as a space for creation and as a community can provide.
Special activities
At this event we took some time to live post presentations from three of our new Hivers: @maffer, @yaslenysofia and @mvart. Proud we are that they dared to publish, have been engaged in it since our Hive Talk University activity at the UCLA Dean of Humanities and Arts. We are also proud to see their great interest in participating with the community and attending the Lara Fest with their best smile.
In addition to them, they have created their presentations from the same activity @segunramiro and @uramarivero.

El evento empieza para los organizadores mucho tiempo antes, y continúa mucho tiempo después de la ejecución del mismo.
Equipo de trabajo
Anteriormente hemos hablado del "equipo organizador" y quienes lo componen, @filoriologo, @zullyscott, @joheredia21, @tsunsica y @yonnathang. El rol del equipo es hacer los contactos necesarios, planificar la logística, las ponencias, todo el trasfondo del evento, y durante el evento, estar atentos a todos los detalles, imprevistos, que el resto del equipo se encuentre bien y cumpliendo sus propias tareas. Es mucho, pero es solo una parte del trabajo que se realiza durante un evento.
@fermionico nos acompañó en esta hermosa fotografía, las colaboraciones entre diferentes proyectos y comunidades del país hacen mucho más fuerte el mensaje que transmitimos. Por eso Barquisimeto siempre tiene las puertas abiertas para las otras comunidades.
El equipo de Hive Barquisimeto es mucho más amplio que solo los organizadores. Quienes nos acompañan en el stand, durante el evento, realizan también una gran labor para mantener todo en orden, armar el set, y atender al público. No es tarea fácil, porque para hacer esto, hay que estar bien informado sobre Hive y cómo responder a las preguntas, incluso cómo responder si no se sabe la respuesta. Los miembros del equipo que nos acompañaron en esta ocasión: @neruel, @omarqm, @francysfiore, @eliigonzalez, @wbrandt, @anderhz y @saravm82.
Claro está, el grupo se extiende mucho más con los invitados, familia, y amigos. Muchos otros miembros de la comunidad presente y apoyando: @jessiencasa, @jes.seth, @jesusalejos, @caribayarte, @mundomanaure, nuestra mini-hiver Camila y muchos más.
Ponencias
En esa ocasión las ponencias no estuvieron abiertas a todo público, sino solo a los empresarios y emprendedores. Nos sentimos orgullosos de que, como nos hizo notar @fermionico, nuestra ponencia fue la más concurrida, tomando en cuenta las personas allí tuvieron que decidir dejar sus stands un rato para atender una presentación que les interesaba. Entre la audiencia se encontraba la empresa Canguro, de la que hablaremos más adelante.
La intervención de nuestro invitado @fermionico, fue una amplia explicación de lo que es Hive y lo que puede encontrarse en la blockchain. Todo lo que alguien que está interesado en progresar y unirse a web3 tiene que escuchar para decidirse a iniciar. La historia del nacimiento de Hive, nuestra economía, el ecosistema de Dapps, las oportunidades de crecimiento, cómo unirse y más.
Luego fue el turno de @tsunsica para explicar cómo pueden crearse incentivos para las comunidades con los Tokens en Hive. Cómo estos pueden usarse para fomentar la interacción de los clientes de empresas y emprendedores tanto en tienda como en redes sociales, e ideas sobre cómo obtener los fondos para un proyecto de manera comunitaria.
Luego de estas ponencias vino la ronda de preguntas, y a partir de esta interacción se concretó la reunión con La empresa Canguro.
Contactos logrados
Durante el evento hablamos con muchas empresas, con algunas llegamos más lejos que con otras, aunque todas las personas mostraron interés, el éxito del contacto depende en gran parte de con quien estamos hablando: promotor, empleado, community manager, gerente, etc. Mientras más cerca del poder de tomar decisiones, más efectivos pueden ser los encuentros.
Tal fue el caso de nuestra conversación con la reconocida empresa de venta de equipos y accesorios de teléfono y audio, así como proveedores de servicio técnico y educadores en el área Canguro. Los miembros del equipo abordaron el stand, conversaron con los vendedores y encargados, invitándolos a asistir a las ponencias de @fermionico y @tsunsica.
Además de ello, @fermionico conversó con ellos a más detalle, planteando cuales podrían ser los intereses en común, en este caso, la educación en web3. Canguro demostró interés en un acuerdo donde nosotros ofrecemos formación a su personal y ellos ceden sus espacios para que a estos talleres puedan asistir personas fuera de Canguro. Finalmente asistieron a las ponencias y con la información allí brindada, el convencimiento fue total.
Se acordó una futura reunión, la cual fue llevada a cabo en día de ayer. Hablamos con los coordinadores de negocio de la rama de la empresa CanguroPro, que se encarga de los talleres en sus aulas y las presentaciones en diferentes eventos. En esta reunión se concretó el acuerdo educativo, donde formaremos a su personal en lo que deben saber sobre Hive y como usar las herramientas a su alcance, y ellos nos permitirán el uso de los espacios para la formación de nuevos Hivers y también para educar a aquellos ya en Hive pero que requieren apoyo en el uso de herramientas específicas.
Además de esto hay otros acuerdos en la mesa, sin embargo solo mencionamos este, que es ya un gran paso, porque los siguientes pasos serán anunciados a medida que haya confirmación y fechas de inicio. Así que atentos próximos anuncios, y al inicio del primer taller de Web3 y Hive en las aulas de CanguroPro.
Además de esta alianza con Canguro, se pautó la primera reunión con la Universidad Yacambú, la cual es una prestigiosa universidad privada del Estado Lara, que ya cuenta con una infraestructura para formación online. La reunión se llevará a cabo la próxima semana, por lo que los resultados serán anunciados más adelante.
Del mismo modo, muchas conversaciones quedaron acordadas con emprendedores. Este éxito se debe a que ya nos recuerdan del anterior gran evento, la Expo TecnoDigital, y al vernos también aquí, y saber de lo que hemos logrado con las universidades UCLA y UNESR, y la Cámara de Comercio de Barquisimeto, sienten más confianza para hablar de Hive y considerar unirse.

Además del alcance logrado en nuestras redes, tuvimos participación en otros medios de difusión, como Radio Visión y Versión de Fama89.1, quienes estuvieron publicitando nuestra participación durante cuatro días, y realizando un sorteo de entradas patrocinado por Hive.
Durante el evento fuimos entrevistados por la televisora Telecentro; recibimos la visita y difusión en redes de la Influencer local @mariamarinamm en Instagram, quien además creó su cuenta durante el evento y está aprendiendo a usar la plataforma Liketu para realizar su presentación.
Nos visitó en el stand también la agrupación @cuatrolarense, los amigos del portal de eventos, deportes y entretenimiento de Barquisimeto @naguarapuntocom, y los amigos de Street Workout Community.
Este evento nos ha llevado a un público bastante diverso e interesado en las oportunidades que Hive como espacio para la creación y como comunidad puede brindar.
Actividades especiales
En este evento nos tomamos un tiempo para publicar en vivo las presentaciones de tres de nuestras nuevas Hivers: @maffer, @yaslenysofia y @mvart. Orgullosos estamos de que se hayan atrevido a publicar, se hayan dedicado a ello desde nuestra actividadHive Talk University en el Decanato de Humanidades y Artes de la UCLA. También de ver su gran interés en participar junto a la comunidad y asistir al Lara Fest con su mejor sonrisa.
