We know that Hive is a global ecosystem made up of human beings who have created a solid community without any kind of restriction through the virtual world. But, in the quest to transcend the virtual, the members of the community have seen the need to strengthen ties, do coworking and build marketing spaces that mix the online and offline.
Venezuela has been just one place in the world where the community has grown exponentially and this year 2022 there have been a large number of events that respond to what has been said above. Here in Barquisimeto we have coincided to date a little more than 50 people who make life within Hive.
Being able to coincide has been an opportunity to share as Hive, this has been a factor of indisputable positive change in each of our lives. Therefore, we have coincided in the will to give back as much as possible all that Hive allows us, since Hive being an innovative way to build Web3 gives us a potential for personal and professional growth.
That is why today we want to share with the community the method that as HiversBqto we have developed in the execution of self-sustaining events. It is not a method that we have adopted but by having a multidisciplinary team if you can say so, we have developed an ability to execute the projected.
How to carry out an event in a self-sustainable way?
- Focus on the objective.
- Plan (Plan A, Plan B).
- Prioritize.
- Delegate functions.
- Making the best use of each resource.
- Teamwork.
- Execute.
- Evaluate
Each event is different no matter how much it is organized by the same team and pursues the same goal, that is why each of the steps is important for each occasion, and that is why we are going to briefly explain each step according to our experience with the execution of 8 events and counting, in fact at this moment we are in the middle of organizing the HiveCreatorsCoffee☕ event.

Now, let's comment a little bit on each of the steps mentioned:
FOCALIZE
It is about having a clear objective, it is achieved by answering the question: What do we want to obtain? It is to have a clear point to which we want to arrive, it is what we want to achieve.
PLANNING
After having a clear objective, it is important to begin the planning exercise, which is nothing more than to devise a clear route of action or routes of action, since it is best to devise a plan A and a plan B, because no matter how much we stop to think carefully, not always everything goes as expected and therefore it is important to consider the following element.
PRIORITIZE
It is possible that among so many ideas that we may have we think that all are equally important and usually there is a hierarchical order of ideas, and the work is always to arrange that order so that we can order the tasks to be performed.
DELEGATE
After the previous aspects, it is important to delegate functions, we are not all good at the same thing, in a work team we can all contribute in different ways, that is why each team member can perform tasks according to their skills, and thus the tasks do not fall into a centralized way to be executed.
LEVERAGE RESOURCES
Since resources are not infinite, being able to leverage them is important. Now, I'm not just talking about financial resources, but all kinds of resources, tools, people, money. This is a key aspect in the execution of the project since self-sustainability relies heavily on this aspect, and therefore the following aspect is the soul of every project.
TEAMWORK
Teamwork is to understand that every project assumed by a group of people is carried out with coordination between the activities assumed at the time in which the tasks have been delegated. Analogously to the operation of a clock, each gear does its work individually but the coordinated movements are intertwined with the purpose of giving the correct time, in the case of a project, each person contributes its part to carry out what was projected at the beginning. And in this way, roughly respecting each step, we can conclude in the following step.
EXECUTION
If everything has gone as planned, there is no other way than execution and optimal execution. But not everything ends here, as the last of the steps comes.
EVALUATE
It is necessary that the members of the team that has taken on the project, after completing it, it is more than necessary to evaluate the whole process. Every experience is a learning experience and things can always be done a little better, discovering what things need to be improved is something valuable for every work team.
In the framework of the activities in the city of Barquisimeto around Hive, it is worth highlighting some additional aspects to the process that we have mentioned and that have contributed in an invaluable way to the work we have been doing. We have had the support of the @hivecreatorsday team, we have also received the support of @guiltyparties.
Another factor and no less important has been the support of the members of Hive Barquisimeto, who have sometimes put our account as a beneficiary in their posts, and in fact, currently in view of the next event to be held we are all contributing as far as possible in the contribution of resources to optimize the results, and therefore, the rewards obtained in this post will be destined entirely to the next event.

¿Cómo realizar un evento de forma autosustentable?
Bien sabemos que Hive es un ecosistema global conformado por seres humanos que sin ningún tipo de restricción a través de lo virtual han creado una comunidad sólida. Pero, en la búsqueda de trascender lo virtual los miembros de la comunidad han visto la necesidad de fortalecer vínculos, hacer coworking y construir espacios de marketing que mezclen lo online y lo offline.
Venezuela ha sido tan solo un lugar en el globo donde la comunidad ha crecido exponencialmente y este año 2022 se han realizado un gran número de eventos que responden a lo que se ha dicho anteriormente. Acá en Barquisimeto hemos coincidido hasta la fecha poco más de 50 personas que hacen vida dentro de Hive.
Poder coincidir ha sido una oportunidad de compartir como Hive, esto ha sido un factor de indiscutible cambio positivo en cada una de nuestras vidas. Por ello, hemos coincidido en la voluntad de devolver a medida de lo posible todo lo que Hive nos permite, ya que Hive al ser un innovador modo de construir Web3 nos da un potencial de crecimiento personal y profesional.
Es por eso que hoy deseamos compartir con la comunidad el método que como HiversBqto hemos desarrollado en la ejecución de eventos auto-sustentables. No es un método que hayamos adoptado sino que al tener un equipo multidisciplinario si se puede decir así, hemos desarrollado una habilidad de poder ejecutar lo proyectado.
¿Cómo realizar un evento de forma autosustentable?
- Focalizar el objetivo.
- Planificar (Plan A, Plan B).
- Priorizar.
- Delegar funciones.
- Aprovechar cada recurso de la manera más óptima.
- Trabajo en equipo.
- Ejecutar.
- Evaluar
Cada evento es diferente por más que se organice por el mismo equipo y se persiga el mismo objetivo, por ello es importante cada uno de los pasos para cada ocasión, y por ello vamos a explicar brevemente cada paso según nuestra experiencia con la ejecución de 8 eventos y contando, de hecho en este momento estamos en pleno proceso de organización del evento HiveCreatorsCoffee☕

Ahora bien, comentemos un poco cada uno de los pasos mencionados:
FOCALIZAR
Se trata de tener claro el objetivo, se consigue respondiendo a la pregunta ¿Qué deseamos obtener? Es tener un punto claro al cual se desea llegar, es eso que deseamos cumplir.
PLANIFICAR
Después de tener el objetivo claro, es importante comenzar el ejercicio de planificación, que no es más que idear de una forma clara la ruta de acción o rutas de acción ya que lo mejor es idear un plan A y un plan B, porque por más que nos detengamos a pensar con detenimiento no siempre todo sale como se espera y por ello es importante considerar el siguiente elemento.
PRIORIZAR
Es posible que entre tantas ideas que podamos tener pensemos que todas son igual de importantes y por lo general hay un orden jerárquico de ideas, y el trabajo es siempre ordenar dicho orden para que podamos ordenar las tareas a realizar.
DELEGAR
Después de los aspectos anteriores, es importante delegar funciones, no todos somos buenos para lo mismo, en un equipo de trabajo todos podemos aportar de modos diferentes, es por ello que cada miembro del equipo puede realizar tareas según sus habilidades, y de ese modo las tareas no recaen en un modo centralizado de ser ejecutadas.
APROVECHAR LOS RECURSOS
Como los recursos no son infinitos, poder aprovecharlos es algo importante. Ahora bien, no hablo solo de recursos financieros sino todo tipo de recursos, herramientas, personas, dinero. Esto es un aspecto clave en la ejecución del proyecto ya que la autosustentabilidad recae en gran medida en este aspecto, y por ello el siguiente aspecto es el alma de todo proyecto.
TRABAJO EN EQUIPO
El trabajo en equipo es entender que todo proyecto asumido por un grupo de personas se lleva a la ejecución con coordinación entre las actividades asumidas en el momento en el cual se han delegado las tareas. Análogamente al funcionamiento de un reloj, cada engrane va haciendo su trabajo de manera individual pero que se van entrelazando los movimientos coordinados con el propósito de dar la hora correcta, en el caso de un proyecto, cada persona aporta su parte para llevar a cabo lo proyectado en un primer momento. Y de este modo, respetando a grosso modo cada paso, podemos concluir en el siguiente paso.
EJECUCIÓN
Si todo ha ido yendo como lo proyectado, no hay otro camino que la ejecución y una ejecución óptima. Pero no todo termina aquí, ya que viene el último de los pasos.
EVALUAR
Es necesario que los miembros del equipo que ha asumido el proyecto, luego de llevarlo a término es más que necesario que evalúen todo el proceso. Toda experiencia es un aprendizaje y siempre las cosas pueden hacerse un poco mejor, descubrir que cosas hay que mejorar es algo valioso para todo equipo de trabajo.
En el marco de las actividades en la ciudad de Barquisimeto en torno a Hive, cabe destacar algunos aspectos adicionales al proceso que hemos mencionado y que han aportado de una manera invaluable al trabajo que hemos venido realizando. Hemos contado con el apoyo del equipo de @hivecreatorsday, también hemos recibido el apoyo de @guiltyparties.
Otro factor y no menos importante ha sido el apoyo de los miembros de Hive Barquisimeto, que en ocasiones han puesto nuestra cuenta como beneficiario en sus post, y de hecho, actualmente en miras del próximo evento a realizar estamos entre todos aportando a medida de lo posible en el aporte de recursos para optimizar los resultados , y por ello, las recompensas obtenidas en este post estarán destinadas en su totalidad al próximo evento.
