Because of Covid I didn't get any flowers planted in the pots on my deck this summer and I have been missing the colors and the insects that are usually attracted to the blooms.
My birthday is on Tuesday and my daughter came by this weekend with a whole carload of potted plants as her birthday gift to me! They weren't out there an hour and I saw a butterfly come by to take a look.
Sitting out on the deck will be much more enjoyable now!
What a great birthday gift! The rest of my summer will be so much brighter!

This year they are best seen before midnight when you can see up to 50 falling stars per hour. It is a light show that shouldn't be missed!
