Veo un mar de fotos preciosas y yo badeando en el recuerdo, me lanzo junto a ustedes en esta hermosa iniciativa, ahora ya concuso de @lanzjoseg y su #juevestbt.
Les comparto la foto de mi recuerdo y les cuento...
En el corazón de Camagüey, Cuba, existe un bosque que guarda un fenómeno natural impresionante: un área petrificada. Este paisaje es un espectáculo de la naturaleza, donde la vida y el tiempo parecen haberse detenido en un instante mágico.
El bosque, lleno de palmeras que se mecen suavemente con la brisa tropical, es un refugio para una fauna variada y vibrante. Caminando entre sus senderos, pude admirar aves como el tocoloro ( la que vi por primera vez allí ) un loro autóctono cuya presencia me emocionó por ser también la primera vez que lo veía en su medio. Su canto y colores aportan vida y magia al entorno.
La zona petrificada del bosque se debe a un proceso geológico conocido como petrificación o fosilización. Hace millones de años, árboles y vegetación quedaron enterrados bajo sedimentos ricos en minerales. Con el tiempo, estos minerales sustituyeron gradualmente la materia orgánica, transformando la madera en piedra. Así, estas formaciones de madera petrificada son testigos silenciosos de eras pasadas, atrapando la historia en su estructura cristalizada. Señores !!! Aquello parece de hechizo...algo escalofriante de verdad y a la vez mágico.
La gente va a pedir deseos a este lugar...

Este contraste entre la exuberancia viva del bosque y la eternidad petrificada es fascinante. Caminar allí es un viaje entre el pasado y el presente, un encuentro con la fuerza de la naturaleza que transforma y preserva. Sin duda, este rincón de Camagüey es un tesoro natural que invita a conocer, respetar y proteger. Dicen, existen sólo 3 se estos en el mundo. Cuba, es sin dudas dichosa !!!
