Today, I share with you, dear readers, precious memories from my 50th birthday last year. Next month, I will turn 51, and I am happy to have lived five decades that have allowed me to mature as a human being. On my 50th birthday, I received calls from family members who are far from home, greetings from my friends, that family that life has given me, and close relatives who accompanied me in this intimate moment of celebration.
I feel fortunate to have reached this stage, especially because each birthday reminds me of the opportunity I had to survive a diagnosis of ovarian cancer, which is why I always celebrate it with even more joy. Among balloons, a delicious cake, and the love of those who care for me, I celebrated another year, grateful to my God for so much.

Hoy comparto con ustedes estimados lectores, recuerdos preciosos, vividos en mi cumpleaños número 50 el año pasado, el mes próximo cumpliré 51 años y me hace feliz el poder vivir 5 décadas que me han permitido madurar como ser humano. Este día de mi cumpleaños número 50 recibí llamadas de mis familiares que se encuentran muy lejos de casa, salutaciones de mis amigos, esa familia que la vida me ha regalado, familiares cercanos quienes me acompañaron en este momento intimo de celebración.
Me siento afortunada por poder llegar a esta etapa, en especial porque cada cumpleaños me recuerda la oportunidad que tuve de sobrevivir a un diagnóstico de carcinoma de ovario, por eso siempre lo celebro con más alegría. Entre globos, un rico pastel y el amor de esas personas que me quieren celebré un año más, agradecida con mi dios por tanto.
