Llegó el día en que la profesora mencionaría los dos grupos que quedaron para la expo-ciencia y quedaron seleccionados, el experimento de encender un bombillo y el de nosotros del lanzamiento de un cohete. Estábamos felices y emocionados, además que todos tendríamos dos puntos más en la materia, así nos fuimos preparando, por ejemplo hice una especie de afiche de presentación a nuestro experimento y otra compañera de mi grupo decoró el cohete.

The day came when the teacher would mention the two groups that were left for the science expo, and they were selected, the experiment of lighting a light bulb and our experiment of launching a rocket. We were happy and excited, plus we would all have two more points in the subject, so we were preparing, for example I made a kind of poster presentation to our experiment and another classmate of my group decorated the rocket.

Para ese día llevamos algunas galletas y otros dulces para los jueces, también el otro equipo llevó otras cosas como bebidas y entre todo salón llevaron cosas relacionadas con la química para decorar. Así armamos nuestra mesa, por el otro salón un grupo presento el cómo hacer detergente y el otro grupo presento como hacer Slime, todos estuvieron muy buenos e interesantes.

For that day we brought some cookies and other sweets for the judges, also the other team brought other things like drinks and between all the classrooms they brought things related to chemistry to decorate. So we set up our table, for the other room one group presented how to make detergent and the other group presented how to make slime, all were very good and interesting.

Después de esperar esa mañana llego el momento del turno de nuestro año, y el experimento de mi equipo era el último. A mí me tocó explicar cómo se hace el cohete y por último hacer que volará; también debo mencionar que no solamente estaban los jueces, sino también además alumnos como niños de primaria, maestras, profesores y realmente fue un gran final el que volará el cohete y los niños pidieron que lo hiciéramos otra vez y a las personas presentes les gustó.

After waiting that morning, it was time for our year's turn, and my team's experiment was the last one. It was my turn to explain how the rocket is made and finally to make it fly; I should also mention that not only the judges were there, but also students such as elementary school children, teachers, professors, and it was really a great ending to make the rocket fly and the children asked us to do it again and the people present liked it.

En cuestión a los otros años recuerdo, que en 5.º año les tocó física, e hicieron maquetas superbonitas como de parques mecánicos y estaba genial ver su funcionamiento, también recuerdo que en 1.º año era de biología y se trataban de la fotosíntesis y tenían una maqueta que lo explicaba y era muy interesante.

Para finalizar fue una experiencia muy importante, porque resulto increíble ir experimentando y haciendo pruebas para ver si funcionaba o no, y que nos escogieran, que a las personas presentes les gustará fue algo muy gratificante para mi equipo y para mí, también debo mencionar que no solo nuestro experimento les gustó también el de nuestros compañeros estuvieron geniales.

El aprendizaje fue genial en la materia de química durante mi 4.º año de bachillerato.

As for the other years, I remember that in 5th grade it was physics, and they made super nice models of mechanical parks and it was great to see how they worked, I also remember that in 1st grade it was biology and it was about photosynthesis and they had a model that explained it and it was very interesting.

To conclude it was a very important experience, because it was incredible to experiment and test to see if it worked or not, and that we were chosen, that the people present liked it was very rewarding for my team and for me, I should also mention that not only our experiment was liked but also that of our classmates were great.

The learning was great in chemistry during my 4th year of high school.
