The value music brings to our world can't be underestimated and just like we always hear that music is life. Music has brought a lot of changes to which I believe some other genre of life can't bring.
Even as much as sports or the genre of football is been admired over the world, they still bow down to the world of music and thus the world indirectly depends on music.
Music has a way of travelling down to our soul deep down that even we can't touch. It has a way of communicating the Deep things of the heart within our inner man and thus brings out the worries and solve the issues of life. A lot music is capable of doing if only we can open our eyes to see and realise it.
I have seen the power of music performs wonder. I have seen the power of music rescue someone from the yoke of depression and fustration. As we all know the effect of depression is quite alarming, it can lead to death.
No se puede subestimar el valor que la música aporta a nuestro mundo y como siempre escuchamos que la música es vida. La música ha aportado muchos cambios que, en mi opinión, no puede aportar ningún otro género de vida.
Incluso por mucho que el deporte o el género del fútbol sean admirados en todo el mundo, siguen inclinándose ante el mundo de la música y, por tanto, el mundo depende indirectamente de la música.
La música tiene una forma de viajar hasta lo más profundo de nuestra alma que ni siquiera nosotros podemos tocar. Tiene una forma de comunicar las cosas profundas del corazón dentro de nuestro hombre interior y así saca las preocupaciones y resuelve los problemas de la vida. La música es capaz de hacer mucho si sólo podemos abrir los ojos para verlo y darnos cuenta.
He visto que el poder de la música hace maravillas. He visto el poder de la música rescatar a alguien del yugo de la depresión y la frustración. Como todos sabemos, el efecto de la depresión es bastante alarmante, puede llevar a la muerte.
I have seen the power of music breathes back hope and positivity to ones soul that even families are not been able to. I have seen instances whereby music has solve a lot of conflicts either between friends, families or even nations that we humans can't solve by our power. Music has revolve around the world and bring about a positive change that without music it wouldn't have been possible.
I have seen music settle dispute, do wonders, create life and raise dry bones within. It has bring happiness and joy to people's faces and even breath positive future to some people. I can keep mentioning on and on but that's not what I am here to discuss about today.
Something keep bothering me in my society that even though we realise the importance of music and the value it add to our lifes, it is quite a pity that they musicians are not appreciated enough. Well that might sound harsh to some people but that is just the plain truth
He visto que el poder de la música devuelve la esperanza y la positividad al alma que ni siquiera las familias han podido. He visto casos en los que la música ha resuelto muchos conflictos, ya sea entre amigos, familias o incluso naciones, que los seres humanos no podemos resolver con nuestro poder. La música ha dado la vuelta al mundo y ha provocado un cambio positivo que sin la música no habría sido posible.
He visto cómo la música resuelve disputas, hace maravillas, crea vida y levanta huesos secos por dentro. Ha traído felicidad y alegría a los rostros de la gente e incluso ha insuflado un futuro positivo a algunas personas. Puedo seguir mencionando más y más, pero no es de eso de lo que voy a hablar hoy.
Hay algo que me preocupa en mi sociedad, y es que aunque somos conscientes de la importancia de la música y del valor que aporta a nuestras vidas, es una pena que no se aprecie lo suficiente a los músicos. Esto puede sonar duro para algunos, pero es la pura verdad.
WHY DO I SAY SO?
Well in countries like Nigeria, to an extent our Musicians are quite appreciated in our society but if we should take a step and travel around the world, it will quite shock a lot of us how and why musicians are not appreciated.
In fact in some aspect of the country like Nigeria, they are instances where by the world of musicians is look down and not given the proper reference it desired.
A quite average family in Nigeria control by the parent will never wish their children to become a musician. Imagine a son or daughter walking up to his or her dad or mom to reveal to them his dreams of becoming a musician, instantly in the society we find ourselves in Nigeria, that ambition dream will quickly be rejected and forbidden in the family.
Well some parents see pursuing the dream of becoming a musician is not something to be proud of compared to their children becoming a doctor, lawyer or an Engineer which is not supposed to be.
¿POR QUÉ LO DIGO?
Bueno, en países como Nigeria, hasta cierto punto nuestros músicos son bastante apreciados en nuestra sociedad, pero si damos un paso y viajamos por el mundo, nos chocará a muchos cómo y por qué los músicos no son apreciados.
De hecho, en algunos aspectos del país, como Nigeria, hay casos en los que el mundo de los músicos es menospreciado y no se le da la referencia adecuada que se desea.
Una familia bastante media en Nigeria controlada por los padres nunca deseará que sus hijos se conviertan en músicos. Imagínense a un hijo o hija que se acerca a su padre o a su madre para revelarles sus sueños de convertirse en músico, instantáneamente en la sociedad que nos encontramos en Nigeria, ese sueño de ambición será rápidamente rechazado y prohibido en la familia.
Pues algunos padres ven que perseguir el sueño de convertirse en músico no es algo de lo que estar orgullosos en comparación con el hecho de que sus hijos se conviertan en médicos, abogados o ingenieros, lo cual no es de recibo.
WHY ARE MUSICIANS NOT APPRECIATED ENOUGH IN OUR SOCIETY
One thing I noticed is most of the Stigmatisation musicians faced comes from the family. Like I have said earlier the scenario, some families will never encourage their children to pursue their dreams of becoming a Musicians as they see it a s absurd dream that is not worth been proud of.
In our society, people will view you somehow as a parent if you introduce your children to them as been a musician which is not supposed to be so.
Another basic foundation that has caused why many musicians not appreciated is the economic state of some country. The economy state of some country does not quite encourage the effort musicians are putting in producing quality music that bless life's and breath life to our world.
POR QUÉ LOS MÚSICOS NO SON SUFICIENTEMENTE APRECIADOS EN NUESTRA SOCIEDAD
Me he dado cuenta de que la mayor parte de la estigmatización a la que se enfrentan los músicos proviene de la familia. Como he dicho antes, algunas familias nunca animarán a sus hijos a perseguir su sueño de convertirse en músicos, ya que lo ven como un sueño absurdo del que no vale la pena sentirse orgulloso.
En nuestra sociedad, la gente te verá de alguna manera como un padre si les presentas a tus hijos como un músico, lo cual no se supone que sea así.
Otro fundamento básico que ha causado que muchos músicos no sean apreciados es el estado económico de algún país. El estado de la economía de algunos países no alienta el esfuerzo que los músicos están poniendo en la producción de música de calidad que bendice la vida y da vida a nuestro mundo.
TIME FOR A CHANGE IN OUR SOCIETY CONCERNING THAT
I believe this can't continue this way. Time for a change to start taking place. Time for proper enlightenment to start happening in our society. And that really need to start from us.
I know the effort the musicians are putting in creating quality music for us. Music is different from noise. MUSIC is what breath and bring Life like I have said earlier in the first part of my post and if music brings life, we really need to appreciate duly people who sacrificed days and night to put those quality music to our doorsteps.
There are some musicians who spend hours, some days and even some weeks just to produce a quality MUSIC. With all the effort been put in, it wouldn't be good our society keep looking down on them.
It is time that even in our family, parent should start embracing the dream of their child becoming a musician as a good thing and not something to always to look down on. Time for us to embrace that change.
Our society has really downgraded the value of the musicians whereas we appreciate the music which is not supposed to be so. In as much as we are appreciating the quality music we listen to that brings life and brings changes to our world, we should also at the same time appreciate those Musicians who are putting quality efforts and time to make the quality music.
ES HORA DE UN CAMBIO EN NUESTRA SOCIEDAD RESPECTO A ESO
Creo que esto no puede seguir así. Es hora de que se produzca un cambio. Es hora de que empiece a haber una iluminación adecuada en nuestra sociedad. Y eso realmente tiene que empezar por nosotros.
Sé el esfuerzo que hacen los músicos para crear música de calidad para nosotros. La música es diferente del ruido. La música es lo que respira y trae la vida, como he dicho antes en la primera parte de mi post, y si la música trae la vida, realmente tenemos que apreciar a las personas que sacrifican días y noches para poner esa música de calidad a nuestras puertas.
Hay algunos músicos que pasan horas, algunos días e incluso algunas semanas sólo para producir una MÚSICA de calidad. Con todo el esfuerzo que han hecho, no sería bueno que nuestra sociedad siguiera despreciándolos.
Es hora de que, incluso en nuestra familia, los padres empiecen a aceptar el sueño de que sus hijos se conviertan en músicos como algo bueno y no como algo que siempre hay que despreciar. Es hora de que aceptemos ese cambio.
Nuestra sociedad ha rebajado mucho el valor de los músicos, mientras que nosotros apreciamos la música, lo que no debería ser así. Al igual que apreciamos la música de calidad que escuchamos y que aporta vida y cambios a nuestro mundo, también deberíamos apreciar a los músicos que dedican tiempo y esfuerzos a crear música de calidad.
A lot of young folks will have actually become a musician but if only their families or parent have pursued their dream they have with them instead of counterfeit it. And that is why I always admire parents who always come out to pursue the dreams of their children along with them when it comes to becoming a Musician.
Also it is high time our society should stop the impression been given to Musicians as not valuable people in the society. They are asset that we need to embrace with love and appreciate their value
Time for Musicians to be duly Appreciated and Valued in our society
Muchos jóvenes se habrán convertido realmente en músicos pero si sólo sus familias o padres han perseguido su sueño que tienen con ellos en lugar de falsificarlo. Y es por eso que siempre admiro a los padres que siempre salen a perseguir los sueños de sus hijos junto con ellos cuando se trata de convertirse en un músico.
Además, ya es hora de que nuestra sociedad deje de dar la impresión de que los músicos no son personas valiosas en la sociedad. Son un activo que debemos abrazar con amor y apreciar su valor.
Es hora de que los músicos sean debidamente apreciados y valorados en nuestra sociedad
