Desde que se inició el proyecto Hive Monagas hemos tenido un enfoque claro: promover la educación sobre el ecosistema Blockchain de Hive de la mejor forma posible. Los desafíos, desde entonces, han sido muy grandes. Sin embargo: grandes retos generan grandes resultados sí se trabajan con las estrategias correctas. La visión que surge desde nuestro equipo es precisamente esa, y hasta ahora estamos muy felices por la receptividad que hemos logrado a nivel de las universidades y en las convocatorias que hemos impulsado junto a los Hivers del estado Monagas - Venezuela.
Nuestro primer ciclo de actividades contempló dos conferencias universitarias y un evento extra enmarcado en el Global Bitcoin Pizza Day. Nuestra primicia es: “menor costo mayor impacto”, hecho que hemos logrado comprobar en cada una de las iniciativas que se han llevado desde nuestro equipo. Una propuesta factible siempre estará enmarcada en la lógica de la factibilidad y los resultados tangibles. Si las métricas son buenas con bajos presupuestos: entonces con un presupuesto medio o alto, ¿Cómo serían dichos resultados?
Hemos identificado, en este sentido, “áreas de mejora” según los resultados obtenidos en nuestras dos primeras conferencias. El estudio de las métricas en asistencia y captación indican que el mensaje ha logrado entenderse. Since the start of the Hive Monagas project we have had a clear focus: to promote education about the Hive Blockchain ecosystem in the best possible way. The challenges, since then, have been very big. However: big challenges generate great results if you work with the right strategies. The vision that emerges from our team is precisely that, and so far we are very happy for the receptivity we have achieved at the level of universities and in the calls that we have promoted together with the Hivers of the state of Monagas - Venezuela.
Our first cycle of activities included two university conferences and an extra event framed in the Global Bitcoin Pizza Day. Our first principle is: "lower cost, greater impact", a fact that we have been able to prove in each of the initiatives that have been carried out by our team. A feasible proposal will always be framed in the logic of feasibility and tangible results. If the metrics are good with low budgets: then with a medium or high budget, what would the results be like?
We have identified, in this sense, "areas for improvement" according to the results obtained in our first two conferences. The attendance and engagement metrics indicate that the message has been understood. You can see below the attendance and uptake statistics of the promotional activities at the Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela and the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador (UPEL-IPM):

Cabe resaltar que el Proyecto Hive Monagas no se limita al discurso puro e inmediato, sino que amplía el espectro de “educación sobre Hive” para capacitar a los potenciales nuevos usuarios bajo nuevos métodos de formación. Dicha capacitación no se restringe al Posts de Introducción, sino que es una guía constante para el nuevo Hiver en cuanto a los conceptos (complejos o no) dentro del Ecosistema Blockchain. Por ahora seguimos capacitando a los estudiantes que han decidido incorporarse a nuestras conferencias virtuales vía Telegram, tanto los que ya han ingresado como a los que todavía quieren seguir aprendiendo antes de ingresar a Hive.
Por otro lado, estamos muy felices por el nivel de receptividad del primer evento enfocado en la celebración del Bitcoin Pizza Day, de hecho, en el estado Monagas fue la primera actividad que se hizo, considerando que no se conoce el registro de ninguna otra actividad relacionada en la Ciudad de Maturín. El objetivo de promover la Web3 bajo este concepto se cumplió, pues, la estrategia se basó en “hacer ruido” para que en próximos eventos otros proyectos de Blockchain y cripto-entusiastas de la región puedan unirse.
Este Pizza Day Monagas también sirvió para aclarar y nutrir a gran parte de los asistentes (incluyendo los que se acercaron a la Pizzería a indagar sobre el mismo) sobre las oportunidades en Hive y su escalabilidad. Dado a la naturaleza del Bitcoin Pizza Day se incluyó, además, el modelo del Bitcoin, su historia, su importancia como tecnología Blockchain y la figura de nuestro ecosistema como un referente potencial de desarrollo en la nueva era tecnológica.
A nivel de promoción por redes sociales también estuvimos activos gracias a las iniciativas manejadas internamente en el evento. Desde Twitter se posicionaron las etiquetas relacionadas al BitcoinPizzaDay, el HivePizzaParty & HivePizzaDayMonagas. Parte de este informe fue compartido por las redes sociales oficiales de Hive, aunque puedes ver un poco del posicionamiento de estas etiquetas a continuación:

It should be noted that the Hive Monagas Project is not limited to pure and immediate discourse, but broadens the spectrum of "Hive education" to train potential new users under new training methods. Such training is not restricted to the Introduction Posts, but is a constant guide for the new Hiver on concepts (complex or not) within the Blockchain Ecosystem. For now we continue to train students who have decided to join our virtual conferences via Telegram, both those who have already joined and those who still want to continue learning before joining Hive.
On the other hand, we are very happy for the level of receptivity of the first event focused on the celebration of the Bitcoin Pizza Day, in fact, in the state of Monagas was the first activity that was done, considering that there is no known record of any other related activity in the City of Maturin. The objective of promoting Web3 under this concept was fulfilled, since, the strategy was based on "making noise" so that in upcoming events other Blockchain projects and crypto-enthusiasts in the region can join.
This Pizza Day Monagas also served to clarify and nurture a large part of the attendees (including those who came to the Pizzeria to inquire about it) about the opportunities in Hive and its scalability. Given the nature of the Bitcoin Pizza Day, we also included the Bitcoin model, its history, its importance as a Blockchain technology and the figure of our ecosystem as a potential reference for development in the new technological era.
In terms of social media promotion, we were also active thanks to the initiatives managed internally at the event. From Twitter we positioned the tags related to BitcoinPizzaDay, the HivePizzaParty & HivePizzaDayMonagas. La primera fase del Proyecto Hive Monagas, considerada como un “modelo de prueba”, ha sido eficaz para mejorar el enfoque y esbozar nuevos métodos de difusión. Para ello se estudió la importancia elemental de manejar un mismo concepto con respecto al marco teórico de Hive para sostener, a nivel de promoción, un mismo lenguaje. Por ahora esto forma parte de nuestros objetivos inmediatos.
La segunda fase del Proyecto Hive Monagas ya ha iniciado, de hecho, estamos coordinando esfuerzos para seguir abarcando la promoción de este Ecosistema Blockchain en las doce universidades de este estado del país. Estas son:

La idea es abarcar dos universidades por mes, no limitándose a una solo conferencia por universidad. El cronograma de actividades se irá elaborando bajo un esquema cíclico, tomando en cuenta todas las variables de logística pertinentes.
The first phase of the Hive Monagas Project, considered as a "test model", has been effective in improving the approach and outlining new dissemination methods. To this end, the elemental importance of handling the same concept with respect to the theoretical framework of Hive was studied in order to sustain, at the promotional level, the same language. For now this is part of our immediate objectives.
The second phase of the Hive Monagas Project has already started, in fact, we are coordinating efforts to continue covering the promotion of this Blockchain Ecosystem in the twelve universities of this state of the country. These are:

The schedule of activities will be developed under a cyclical scheme, taking into account all relevant logistical variables.
