¡Feliz martes! Espero que se encuentren muy bien y su semana esté marchando de maravilla. Hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes mi participación en la iniciativa de @hivemonagas en conjunto con @liketu para hablarles sobre un hermoso lugar del estado Monagas, que aunque cuenta con muchísimos y en su mayoría turísticos no he tenido la oportunidad de viajar y conocer por completo este estado a pesar de que llevo toda mi vida viviendo en él, sin embargo, hoy les hablaré de uno que conozco desde niña y el cual considero uno de mis favoritos, se trata del Parque Zoológico la Guaricha que si bien no es el lugar más emblemático del estado para mi es considerado un lugar que forma parte de su historia. Today I come to share with you my participation in the initiative of @hivemonagas in conjunction with @liketu to talk to you about a beautiful place in the state of Monagas, which, although it has many and most of them tourist, I have not had the opportunity to travel and get to know this state completely despite the fact that I have lived in it all my life, however, today I will talk to you one that I have known since I was a child and which I consider one of my favorites, is the La Guaricha Zoo which, although it is not the most emblematic place in the state, for me it is considered a place that is part of its history. El Parque Zoológico La Guaricha está ubicado en la ciudad de Maturín, estado Monagas, fue inaugurado en 1979 y sigue vigente. Es un lugar de recreación familiar donde se puede disfrutar de sus áreas verdes y ser aprovechadas para picnics y paseos, además cuenta con una variedad de animales de diferentes especies, desde aves como guacamayas, loros, tucanes, gavilanes, lechuzas, pero también otras especies como burros, cunaguaros, cerdos, jaguares, monos, capibaras, caimanes, entre otros y pese a que estos animales se mantienen enjaulados se puede apreciar el buen cuidado y alimentación que reciben.

The La Guaricha Zoological Park is located in the city of Maturín, Monagas state, it was inaugurated in 1979 and is still in force. It is a family recreation place where you can enjoy its green areas and be used for picnics and walks, it also has a variety of animals of different species, from birds such as macaws, parrots, toucans, hawks, owls, but also other species such as donkeys, cunaguaros, pigs, jaguars, monkeys, capybaras, alligators, among others and despite the fact that these animals are kept in cages, you can appreciate the good care and food they receive.

Además de todos los animales también hay un monumento de quien fue el rey del parque hace muchos años, un león de nombre Casimiro que duró 29 años en este lugar convirtiéndose en su mayor emblema. Aunque desconozco el tiempo que tendrán actualmente existen unas enormes terecayas que por el tamaño asumo que deben tener muchos años y es realmente impresionante verlas en persona.

In addition to all the animals, there is also a monument to the man who was the king of the park many years ago, a lion named Casimiro that lasted 29 years in this place, becoming its greatest emblem. Although I don't know how old they will be today, there are some enormous terecayas that, due to their size, I assume that they must be many years old and it is really impressive to see them in person.

Parte del atractivo del parque no son solo los animales sino también sus espacios naturales, como la hermosa laguna que posee o la inmensa piscina donde se pueden dar paseos en bote. De niña fui muchas veces a este parque y de adulta solo he ido 2 pero debo decir que es de mis lugares favoritos en la ciudad por el hermoso ambiente natural que posee, es un excelente lugar para pasar el día y disfrutar del aire libre.

Part of the attraction of the park is not only the animals but also its natural spaces, such as the beautiful lagoon that it has or the huge pool where you can take boat rides. As a child I went to this park many times and as an adult I have only gone twice but I must say that it is one of my favorite places in the city because of the beautiful natural environment it has, it is an excellent place to spend the day and enjoy the outdoors.
