Hello friends of Hive, it is a pleasure to greet you, today I want to share with you a story that caught my attention and that you always hear when you arrive to the town of San Antonio de Capayacuar and it is about the legend of the snake of Ipure.
It is said that at the beginning of the town a woman sent her two daughters to the river to fetch water for the house, it was always said that the river kept many secrets and that at a certain time you should not disturb its waters, just fill what you needed and leave. In this opportunity one of the girls began to play with the water and this woke up the beast who with its gigantic size came out of the waters of that red river and with its movements one of the girls fell into the water.
The giant snake swallowed the girl, while her sister, unable to help her, ran to meet her mother to tell her what had happened.
The whole town went to the place, where in prayer to San Antonio de Padua they managed to get the snake out of its hiding place, they opened it and managed to get the girl inside it, but it was too late, the girl had already died, dismayed and with a deep pain the villagers left to plan the burial of the little girl.
When they returned to look for the body of the enormous snake that had been left dead, it had disappeared, and right in the place where it had been left dead, a lagoon was formed that emanated water and filled quickly.

¿Conoces la leyenda de la Culebra de Ipure?
Hola amigos de Hive, es un gusto saludarles, hoy quiero compartirles una historia que me llamo mucho la atención y que siempre escuchas al llegar al pueblo de San Antonio de Capayacuar y es sobre la leyenda de la culebra de Ipure.
Se habla de que a inicios del pueblo una mujer envío a sus dos hijas al río a buscar agua para la casa, siempre se decía que ese río guardaba muchos secretos y que a cierta hora no se debía molestar sus aguas, solo llenar lo que necesitabas e irte. En esta oportunidad una de las niñas comenzó a jugar con el agua y esto hizo despertar a la bestia quien con su gigantesco tamaño salió de las aguas de aquel río colorado y con sus movimientos una de las niñas cayó al agua.
La gigante serpiente se tragó a la niña, mientras que su hermana sin poderla ayudar corrió al encuentro con su madre para contarle lo sucedido.
El pueblo entero se dirigió al lugar, dónde en oración a San Antonio de Padua lograron que la culebra saliera de su escondite, la abrieron y lograron sacar a la niña dentro de ella, pero ya era demasiado tarde, ya la niña había muerto, consternados y con un profundo dolor los pobladores se marcharon a planificar el entierro de la pequeña.
Cuando volvieron a buscar el cuerpo de la enorme culebra que habían dejado muerta, esta había desaparecido, y justo en el lugar donde había quedado muerta se formó una laguna que emanaba agua y se llenaba rápidamente.
